Summary For 2008 Christmas

*Tuesday, 30th December 2008*

This year's Christmas probably is one of the best (for me). It doesn't get any better than meeting up with close friends (with everyone or every couple brought food along) at a tastefully furnished apartment, accompanied with White Christmas playing on the hi fi, prettily decorated Christmas tree, booze, laughters, gossip, and gorgeous desserts.

The five of us (Braving, Danielle, Kimmy, Nivlac and me) found our way to MarVin's place somewhere nearby Universiti LRT Station on the 25th. Braving was supposingly in Shanghai from 24th Dec till 2nd Jan for his holiday but fate seems to be playing on him, and he ended up stranded in KL.

We also got to meet two of Martha's friends, Frankie and Walter who came to KL from Hong Kong for their Christmas holiday. Not to forget SF too.

Danielle and Kimmy brought some pastries and cakes, Nivlac and I brought a stuffed whole roast chicken from Ayamas (I didn't get to try that) and fried noodles, while MarVin prepared pasta, drinks (Ribena with Sprite and lychee was good!) and Häagen-Dazs ice cream.

On Boxing Day, Nivlac prepared the salad we bought the day before (a mix of leafy vegetables with alfalfa sprouts, cashew nuts, capsicums and carrot in peachy vinaigrette dressing) before he fetch me at LRT station. Picked the cupcakes I ordered few weeks before at Wondermilk and we ended up at Danielle and Kimmy's English cottage. MarVin, SF and Braving came later on.

Danielle and Kimmy prepared some amuse bouché (meaning: amuse the mouth aka appetizer), cheese biscuit with chopped capsicum and frankfurters, tortilla wrapped ham and vegetable and drinks. There were also pizza and pasta.

Boxing Day was also Nivlac's birthday (yes, he turned 30). Instead of the conventional big, round cake, I ordered 36 pieces medium size cupcakes as birthday cake for him, complete with wordings.

Last but not least, the Brotherhood also made their annual Christmas 'pilgrimage' to Melaka on the 27th (with more food and also with Savante's family members). Finally tried the mille crepe cakes at Nadeje but they were just mediocre. Should have get cendol instead.

So, how was your Christmas?

Birthday With The Divalicious Trio

*Monday, 15th December 2008*

It was Sinner's birthday yesterday but surprisingly, none of the sisters know about it. They roughly know it's somewhere on the second week of December but they don't know the exact date.... except Froggie.

With Nivlac went to Chiang Mai for holiday, Danielle back in Ipoh and Braving busy accompanying his Penang friend who came for visit, I don't know what should I do to celebrate his birthday until Froggie sms-ed me in the evening, saying he was able to leave office early and wanna come to KL! With another additional brain, we devised a plan - give Sinner a surprise dinner and hang out at his renovated condo.

I picked Froggie at KL Sentral but Sinner apparently already have plan to eat with his Step class kakis. Since it was supposed to be a surprise and we didn't want him to turn us down, Froggie told him he's in town and ask him to join us after dinner. Both of us waited at his condo... and suddenly it came to my mind to go for karaoke. So, we ended up at Green Box karaoke in Sg Wang (aka LalaLand) where us, the Divalicious Trio (as named by Froggie) had a great time shout and danced the night away!

Photobucket
See... we actually sang most of the divas' songs

The buffet was surprisingly good, much better than Neway or Red Box with more choices (about 6 types of free flow drinks exclude soft drinks, ice cream, cakes, rice, noodles, beef, chicken, vegetables, salad, soup, sweet soup and tid bits). But too bad the room was small (just fit for 3-4 person) as Sinner can't do his flashdance... but nevertheless, we still able to shake our asses to S Club 7's Don't Stop Movin' and Spice Girls' Stop. With the right company, even old song can be good too!

Happy Belated Birthday again, dear Sinner! We shall do this again with more people and a bigger room ;)

Bottom Top

*Tuesday, 2nd December 2008*

When GC asked me whether I'm interested to watch Bottom Top, a local comedic stage play two weeks ago, I agreed immediately. I even sent out invitations to both the brother and sisterhood. The brotherhood however, doesn't seem interested or they already have their own plans for that date. But anyway, we manage to stormed the theatre in a group of 14 people (13 gays and one lady, my fag hag :p )

Photobucket

Braving, WMW, Sinner, LTS and me arrived, just before the show begins. As expected, the hall were almost full with gays, with some foreigners.

Bottom Top is a story about a 52-year-old mother, Bertha (Datuk Faridah Merican), who is about to get remarried after her husband left. She, however, is not exactly the typical type of mother, but an open character who doesn't shy away from discussing cringesome topics, including the men in her life, with her single gay son, Melvin (Mark Beau de Silva).

One night, as she prepares her wedding guest list with her son, they ventured into deeper, heart-to-heart conversations. Melvin is unaware that Bertha is also secretly trying to find a life partner for him by arranging her butcher's son, and his distant, unmarried uncle (who is suspected to be gay) to sit beside him at the wedding dinner. The play follows the two characters as Bertha reminisces about her past flings and Melvin educates her on the social construct of his alternative 'world', while audiences get to see a unique relationship between a mother and son.

The stage was full with props that depicts the usual household; a piano, large picture frames, dining table, chairs, couch, book shelves and mat. However, there's no introduction or early prologue. The play started where Melvin appear from the backstage and sat at the dining table, scribbling something, while Bertha was walking around, humming and applying hand lotion.

Photobucket

I would say I really like Bertha for her "angelic but wicked" personality/speech and her natural gesture/face expressions that induce laughters once a while to the audience, yet still exudes a warmth of motherly love, such as:

Melvin: So, tell me, which neighbour you wanna invite? How about next door auntie?
Bertha: *whisper* Haiye, the next door auntie has walking difficulties, if you invite her, later we have to pick her up.

Melvin: You know, we meet thru internet chatrooms. Online profile dating sites. But most of the time, what you see and what you get in real are different. *nods head*
Bertha: That's why I don't trust online shopping!

Bertha: Why can't you bring me along to your "picnic" activities? So I can meet and understand more about you, your lifestyle and your friends.
Melvin: Ma, our "picnic" is not suitable for you.
Bertha: Why not? But I also don't get it la, why would you wanna go "picnic" at night and let those nyamuk to suck you dry!
Melvin: Ma! We're not really going there for picnic la...
Bertha: Then? What you guys do there, in the dark?

Melvin: I've been dumped thousand times.
Bertha: Melvin, don't be ridiculous.
Melvin: It's true Ma. Well, maybe not thousands but hundreds.
Bertha: But why would they dump you? What is wrong with my son?
Melvin: It's like tat Ma. I'm not exactly their type I guess.
Bertha: Aw... come, son. Give me a hug.

Bertha try to show Melvin how to flirt with a guy, physically...

Bertha: *put one hand around Melvin's waist and another hand rubbing his thigh.* Abang....~~~
Melvin: Ma! Don't use that voice please! I'm not a girl!
Bertha: Ok ok... *redo the previous actions again*
Melvin: Just don't say anything.
Bertha: Ok ok.. *continues to rub and put her chin on Melvin's shoulder as if she's smelling him*
Bertha: Are you getting a hard on yet?
Melvin: Maa!! *jumps away*

*Some words in the conversations have been changed as I can't remembered all, so I replace them with the words that I think describes to the situation :p

I think the show was a little too short (60 minutes). It would be good if they extend it for another 30 minutes.

The 13 of us then adjourned to Naili's at Sentul for drinks (LTS gave it a miss) where I had a better view of the rest of GC's friends. Being the only female who present among us, WMW became the centre of attention that night. I guess she had a better view and understanding on the nature of homosexuals (when did you first realize you're different, how did you know the guys you hooked up with is top or bottom and how to see whether that guy is gay or straight).

She then was asked to guess everyone of us whether we're top, bottom or versatile! I'm sure the other patrons must have heard our loud conversations. What a chaotic night we had!

She ended up with a phrase, quoting "had an "eventful" Saturday night - still digesting the facts!" on the next day in Facebook!

*Hey guys, in case you missed the KL show, here's another chance for you to catch it. Bottom Top will be staged at The Actors Studio at Greenhall, 32 Lebuh Light, Georgetown, Penang, on Dec 12 and 13 (8.30pm). Tickets are priced at RM25 (adults) or RM15 (students, seniors and the disabled). Call 04-263 5400 for more info.

Hip Hop Wasn't That Bad Afterall

*Sunday, 30th November 2008*

It was quite a hassle to dress up ala hip hop style. I only know it's popular with the black Americans, big bling blings, hoodie, cap, baggy pants...

So, when Cheryl announced that there will be a 2 hours Hip Hop Gangsta themed B.Jam class on 28th Nov, I googled on how to dress up like a real hip hop and not those local styled hip hop (ahem..)

Photobucket

I got a sleeveless hoodie myself, a big pendant and cap but in the end, I just wore a baggy pants, a black tee with big graphic prints and head bandana. Too much hassle to put the rest on. To tell the truth, I always have this perception that hip hop is not good to dance at but still, I was very excited about it.

But I was wrong. Cheryl, together with the two legendary FF B.Jam princesses, Leonara and Azie, made the class go wild and delivered some really good ass-kicking moves! Something like this:

*This Feedback track by Janet Jackson is totally different from the usual B.Jam moves!

Of course, it's not exactly the moves we did, but similar like that. =) Those regular B.Jammers were really good, while I was a bit in struggling, trying to keep up with the choreographs. It would be really good if they would organize more special theme class like this in the future - I think it can attract more potential members.

Dahil Sa 'Yo

*Wednesday, 19th November 2008*

"Hey, I'm having a performance at a wedding dinner at Glenmarie Holiday Inn on Sunday, you wanna come along and help us to take photo? There will be food serve too, the bridegroom reserved a table for us."

That's what Xavier texted me on last Saturday. I agreed to it and I found myself sitting in the ballroom of Holiday Inn the next evening.

Together with Daemon and his fellow members of his singing group, Xavier performed a total of eight songs (if I'm not mistaken) in different languages such as Hokkien, English and Philippines, all in acapella.

I like the particular fourth song, which is a relaxing classic Philippines love ballad called Dahil Sa 'Yo or Dahil Sa Iyo (Because of You). I tried to find a good rendition of it and was shocked that there's another song with the same name out there, performed by many different artistes.

After sorting them out, here are the two different rendition.

Dahil Sa 'Yo - The Lettermen

Dahil Sa 'Yo Jazz Version - Charlie Green

Dahil Sa Iyo (Because of You)

Dahil sa 'yo, nais kong mabuhay (Because of you, I want to live)
Dahil sa 'yo, hanggang mamatay (Because of you, until I die)
Dapat mong tantuin wala ng ibang giliw (You must know, you're my only love)
Puso ko'y tanungin, ikaw at ikaw rin. (Search my heart, it's you and only you.)

Dahil sa 'yo, ako'y lumigaya (Because of you, joy came into my life)
Pagmamahal ay alayan ka (Undying love I offer to you)
Kung tunay man ako ay alipinin mo (Can this be true, I am under your spell)
*Ang lahat sa buhay ko'y dahil sa 'yo
*Ang lahat sa buhay ko'y dahil sa 'yo
Ang lahat nang ito'y dahil sa 'yo (All that I am, is because of you)
Ang lahat nang ito'y dahil sa 'yo. (All that I am, is because of you)

Gym Is My Second... Er, Third Home

*Friday, 14th November 2008*

Gym is my new third home. Nivlac's place would be the second.

But when I spent about 4-5 days per week in the gym, it rather feels like gym is my first home. But heck, I'm only there for at most 2 hours per day. Add in the changing, showering, break and "eye-conditioning plus drooling" activities... well, make it 3 hours.

For some of the FB loyal brotherhood, you probably saw my pics during the Halloween Graveyard Party at FF. That night, we saw the studio in Axis was decorated with "spider webs", tombstones, dried leaves while receptionists were in "witchy" mode with black lipstick, black fingernail polish and tall witch hat. Even Azie and Kenny became Ursula and... er... whatever the other name was. We did the first part of 39 release and followed by 43.

I usually forgo Harvin's B.Step on Monday as I'm in dire need of rest after the strenuous PT on weekend. So, Tuesday will see me in DC's Pump and followed by Cheryl or Jeremy's Jam class. Since I skipped Harvin's class on Monday, I'll compensate that with Peter's B.Step on Wednesday. And finally, Jam again on Friday.

But there are some changes this week.

I gotta work tomorrow till 3.15pm. Which means, I'm not going over to my second home tonight. Plus, I haven't been updating my other blog for some time, I decided to skip Tuesday's Jam. So this week's schedule was: Tuesday - Pump, Wednesday - B.Step. But there was surprise yesterday when I checked the timetable... B.Attack was replaced by Jackson's B.Pump. With blogs updated and no other prior plans or tasks at hand, there's no reason for me not to go. :P Hence that makes Tuesday - Pump, Wednesday - B.Step and Thursday - Pump.

It would be good if they can stick with Pump on every Thursday though. Another bad-but-not-so-bad news was Peter will be going on holiday for two weeks, hence will only be seeing him in December.

Now, let's see if can make it to Jam with Azie on Sunday after PT.

Birthdays And Outings At The End of October And Early November

*Wednesday, 12th November 2008*

There were birthdays at the end of October. Savante, Imag, WMW and me. Ryan helped to plan a celebration for Savante and me on 26th Oct at RedBox Plus Pavilion (thanks again, Ryan!). Everyone turned up late except Jin who sang and dance alone to his lala songs (ahem..) Poor Jin-ny.

As expected, the gang were so obsessed with Mamma Mia The Movie, so most of the songs we covered are Abba's. A bit of Rihanna's. One Kylie. Oh, and one Teresa Teng. :P

We wandered Pavilion after that and I followed Cheryl's car to have dinner with Janvier, Chief, Apollo and Lifebook. Venue was in Jaya One but Duck King was overcrowded (not good for someone who screams "I'm hungry!"), Secret Recipe doesn't appeal to us, Kinaree's a little expensive and Cheryl can't take Wendy's as she just had her gallbladder operation. So we settled with Fireman Steamboat instead, which I think they copy from BBQ Plaza. The limelight of the night perhaps was the fire-playing show by some foreign worker (imagine go-go boy who eats fire in BKK, it's almost the same, except for the leather outfit and underwear).

And chilled at Coffee Bean till they shoo us away with Savante, Nasser, Defiant and the rest of the gang.

Come Saturday, Nivlac, Sinner, me and another few friends had a birthday lunch with WMW at 1U and then we adjourned to the Highstreet area for Halloween event. By 6pm, Nivlac and I went to Ninja Jones for dinner - the food were good, service was attentive but the songs they played... let's say, they're not Japanese music.

We rushed to KLPac after dinner to watch the YKLS production of Breakin' It Down at KLPac with Chief, Savante, Leggie, Froggie, Nasser and BunnyBan. Bumped into Kiwi and we were both seated at the same row. They sang all jazzy songs but the climax was this short skit.

Api play as a scarfed lady, being approached by two guys, one of them is Janvier himself. So, Api chose the other guy instead of Janvier and Janvier enraged, drew his sword and a fight began. He killed his opponent and dragged Api away, just to be deceived by Api where he was ambushed and murdered by Api. Api then ran back to his lover's body and start doing a resurrection-sort-of-incantation to bring him back to life and they both lived happily ever after.

Everyone love the drama part. I laughed till my tears came out.

We end the day with Hokkien Mee supper, just opposite KLPac. Thanks everyone for the celebration and presents!

Weird Taste Protein

*Monday, 10th November 2008*

I was told that I looked skinny plenty of times and I should eat more. So, when I go out for dinner with flogger friends, you can hear this:

"Jason, you're the skinniest among us, so you have eat more. Come, I scoop for you!"

And my plate will be filled with a mountain of rice, meat, vegetables bla bla bla... But that doesn't work for me as I'm still skinny!

Now that I'm going to gym often, they said I need to take protein. I'm not fond of those protein drink (1. expensive, 2. Ujin took too much of that till he need to do operation to remove a stone from somewhere in his abdomen) so I increased my protein intake through lunch and dinner. In one week time, I ate so much eggs till I feel like I'm going to get heart attack very soon.

Nivlac was not around last weekend, and while I was ransacking the kitchen cabinets for ingredients to cook for lunch, I saw his protein container (6kg size I think). I got curious and so after meal, I opened it and took two scoops of the powder with just water.

It tastes quite awful, seriously. When I read the label, it says "strawberry flavored, artificially" (erghhh...) It feels like taking milk powder but no milky taste. Maybe I should add it with plain low fat milk instead of water next time.

He said he's no longer drinking that so I can have all the balance (more like the leftovers) myself. But how am I supposed to bring milk to the gym????

Just found a nice music that suits the theme although the name doesn't. Taken from Ragnarok Online OST, composed by Lee Seock-Jin and it was the background music of Niflheim, The Town of The Dead.

It's A Crow

*Friday, 24th October 2008*

Picked this from someone's journal.

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.

The Father asked his Son, ’What is this?’
The Son replied ’It is a crow’.
After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, ’What is this?’
The Son said ’Father, I have just now told you ’It’s a crow’.
After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time, What is this?’

At this time some ex-pression of irritation was felt in the Son’s tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff. ’It’s a crow, a crow’.
A little after, the Father again asked his Son t he 4th time, ’What is this?’
This time the Son shouted at his Father, ’Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times ’IT IS A CROW’. Are you not able to understand this?’

A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born.
On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-

’Today little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated and I rather felt affection for innocent child’.

While the little child asked him 23 times ’What is this’, the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and when today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

Red Carpet VIP Night

*Tuesday, 21st October 2008*

I have totally forgotten about FF's Red Carpet VIP Night event at Leisure Mall till I saw the timetable yesterday. At first, I thought it's some sort of open day where members can bring along friends/colleagues/family members along (and be mocked by the sales person to persuade them to join! Just kidding :p )

Made a call to the centre and it happens to be a special event just for members. Monday is not my usual workout day but there's always an exception. My mood was dampen by the rain but luckily it subsided soon after that.

Gym was crowded as usual. Apart from the usual gym members, the classes for the day were conducted by instructors from other branches (em... hence the red carpet thingie?) I saw there were 3 instructors for Combat - Alvin, Janis and Cheng.

I hop in for Pump class (Teoh and Klevin joined in too) conducted by Aubrey (Consplant, Subang Jaya) and Crystal (DU) and boy, these girls are really energetic. I don't think I have the energy to continue after the triceps pump (track 3? or 4?) but they still can go on and on while the others were like moaning, especially the guys (a Malay girl yelled, I think). But nevertheless, a good workout session with some really inspiring good instructors.

Left the gym around 10.20pm and woke up to an aching shoulder, thighs and butt this morning. Ouch...

P3 FES Opening

*Friday, 17th October 2008*

I'm hooked on this song but why does it has to be so short??? Hmph...

P3 FES - Yumi Kawamura feat. Lotus Juice

Kimi wa ne tashika ni ano toki watashi no soba ni ita
Itsudatte itsudatte itsudatte sugu yoko de waratteita
Nakushitemo torimodosu kimi wo I will never leave you

If you wanna battle then I take it to the street
Where there's no rules
Take off the gloves ref please step down
Gotta prove my skillz so get down
My lyrical dempsey roll about to smack down now
Gotta shoot to kill and shoot the skill
Don't you be afraid mans gotta go how it feels
Six to seven to eight to nine ten
I flip the script to make it to the top ten, go

Dreamless dorm ticking clock
I walk away from the soundless room
Windless night moonlight melts
My ghostly shadow to the lukewarm gloom

Nightly dance of bleeding swords
Reminds me that I still live

Every man's gotta fight the fear
I'm the first to admit it shear thoughts
Provoke the new era become a big terror
But my only rival is my shadow
Rewind then playback and six my own error
Get low to the ground it's getting better
Like I told you before double up I did
More cheddar
L to the J say stay laced here's my card B
Royal flush and I'm the Ace

The Ever Growing Sisterhood

*Friday, 17th October 2008*

The sisterhood is growing.

In within 2 months, we have Aikido-san and Vince in the group. Braving and Satoshi brought them out for sisterhood dinner one weekend evening at Izzi KL with Alexander and Jin too.

Aikido-san is same age as me, likes to laugh, cheeky and the only member who doesn't goes to gym but he's taking aikido martial arts class. He had since become Braving's intimate bodyguard (we always portray the scene on how would Aikido-san flip and toss Braving like a roti canai in the bedroom) :p

If not mistaken, Vince is same age as Sinner but more muscular and the quiet type. Satoshi has been sleeping over during the weekend and mentioned that Vince is a good cook. And Vince has been teaching Satoshi roughly how to drive (Satoshi never take any driving lesson before).

Nik: So Vince is teaching you how to drive in the neighbourhood la?
Satoshi: Yeah lo... usually at night.
Sinner: What car you drive, Vince?
Vince: Myvi.
Nivlac: Quite dangerous hor. You know, when he change the gear, he then accidentally hold the wrong "gear".

Everyone burst into laughter for about 10 minutes and we were so loud, till the other tables were staring at us. Ain't my Nivlac cute? :P

We then adjourned to Braving's house while Jin and Alexander leave for home. We watched The Exorcism of Emily Rose till 3am before we say goodbyes to each other.

You Are A Lily

You are a nurturer and all around natural therapist.

You are a soothing influence. You can make people feel better with a few words.

Your caring has more of an impact than even you realize.

Keep It Gay

Nivlac was not around last Saturday, so WMW came over and we watched The Producers. I got to say I love it. (Some of you might already watched it anyway). Here's one of my favourite song from the movie apart from I Want To Be A Producer and Springtime For Hitler.

Younger Guys

*Monday, 6th October 2008*

Is there a change of trend among the gays? I noticed that some of my friends who used to be praising how good a man can be, especially those slightly older than themselves... turned to younger guys.

We're young and cute

Hyperion: But he's younger than you!
A: So what, he's cute!

Hyperion: I thought you prefer someone older?
B: Yeah lor, but that's last time.

But I'm not gonna criticize anyone, as everybody has their own preference and that preference, might change from time to time.

Typical KL Weekend

*Sunday, 28th September 2008*

Raya is around the corner and while on the way back home from dinner just now, Jalan Loke Yew seems very quiet. I mean there are much lesser vehicles on the road. Traffic was smooth - must be because most of the Muslims went back to their hometown.

Speaking of traffic... I was supposed to be in Ipoh (at this very moment I typed this out). Nivlac was going to drop me at Puduraya on Saturday night when we saw the police shut down the road from Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad to Masjid Jamek and Puduraya because those Hindraf folks were having the anti-ISA protest at the area. All vehicles have to make a big turn to Jalan TAR which caused a massive jam as Jalan TAR was buzzing with Ramadan bazaar activities... hence I missed my bus. Again.

Anyway, will be away to visit Froggie in Seremban on Wednesday.

How I Spent My Weekend Nowadays

*Monday, 15th September 2008*

Happy Belated Mid Autumn Festival.

My weekend schedule seems to be packed lately from gym, food reviews, lunch and dinner outings and yamcha sessions. Nivlac and I went to 1U last Friday for a free Ramadan buffet treat with other floggers where we hang around till ten something before we left for home, showered, feeling a little bit hungry again and went to Jalan Universiti's KFC with WMW for supper!

Come Saturday, Nivlac dragged me to Suzuki showroom opposite Mutiara Damansara to have a look at the newly launched Suzuki SX4 Sedan. I like the seats, very comfortable, unlike Jazz that has a steel-alike cushion. The back compartment was HUGE (can literally stuff 3 adults in it) but it was still a sedan. I prefer the SX4 Sports - same design, without the HUGE back compartment.

But too bad we can't test drive it that day for some unavoidable reasons, hence we dropped by at Honda showroom which is just few blocks away and test drive his favourite Civic instead. That's when I found out that the hire purchase loan interests for new cars has increased from previous 2.20% - 2.30% to current 3.60%! Why? Cos our government said that our local cars current interest rate is 3.6%, so there is no way imported cars' interest rate should be lower than 3.60%. Ain't our government a bunch of brilliant folks? No wonder our inflation rate sky-rocketed to 7.70%.

We then adjourned for lunch and Jam at Manulife. FBB came to join me for Step class after that. Made two new friends with the regulars there, Jeanne and Eve. We then picked up Sinner and Braver and headed to KL Sentral for my second food review of the week. A total of 11 people were present for the dinner and 6 were gay. Pity them to have to behave like a straight man for 3 hours during the dinner (sorry guys~~). As soon as the dinner ended, everyone were back to their original self. Guess there's no more next time for them... haha..

We headed to Braver's place after that to celebrate mid Autumn festival at the pool area with lanterns, drinks and camwhoring. Everyone lit their lanterns, running around and hung them among the bamboo trees happily like small kid :)

Got a late SMS from Xavier that night, asking whether we can make it for tomorrow (Sunday)'s karaoke at The Curve. Turned out everyone else were busy, except both of us, Xavier and Daemon... so it was like a couple duet karaoke session. Jin dropped by a while, just to have a look of Nivlac (they called him the elusive one).

Janvier and I went for Jam after karaoke by this new Pinoy instructor where we were doing the 'butterfly kick' track (what track was that again?). Luckily didn't kick anyone in the class :p

BodyPump tomorrow! I wonder if the instructor's cute...

The 17 Tracks

*Monday, 8th September 2008*

I gave my Nivlac a CD the other day... I burn it myself with selected tracks from my mp3 archive. He'll play it in the morning and noon time when I'm around during weekends.

My Nivlac: Nice tracks. Some of them I heard before but I don't remember the names.
Hyperion: Em... first track is... (*change of mind)... Don't want to tell you now. :p
My Nivlac: Yerr... tell lah.
Hyperion: :P

Little that he know was... all the tracks were vomit-inducing mushy-mushy love songs (ahemmm). Took me so long to pick 17 out of the hundreds as almost 99% of my archives are the weepy-heart breaking genre.

So, if you're reading this, here are the names (not in particular order).

爱我好吗 - 卓文萱
爱很简单 - 陶喆
静静的 - 庾澄庆
今生今世 - 张国荣
梁山伯与茱丽叶 - 曹格, 卓文萱

The Long Weekend

*Tuesday, 2nd September 2008*

Happy Merdeka everyone.

Was glad that it was a long weekend. Despite the drizzle on Friday night, Avril's concert was still on (yay). As usual, I was in PJ on weekends. Sinner came to pick me at LRT station and we had dinner in SS2 with my Nivlac and DS.

Come Saturday, we went to Curve for breakfast, registered myself as an official passport member of Fitness First and did some grocery shopping before rush to Sunway Mas for lunch with WMW. That was the first time she met Sinner and Nivlac and I'm glad that they got along pretty well.

Photobucket

Saturday was 30th August but we didn't have any intention of celebrating the countdown of Independence Day, so we just made a quick plan to chill out (which turned out to be a bitching session) at Braving KL's house (very nice condo, very contemporary with all sizes of picture frames and overlooking the Petronas Twin Tower as well as KL Tower).

I attended my first BodyJam class on Sunday with Nivlac and Sinner (Braving slept late hence he can't join us) and I guess I know why Janvier loves BodyJam so much. This is perhaps the easiest way to burn calories while having fun dancing. According to Nivlac, all BodyJam instructors are gay! O.o

This was followed by BodyPump (I'm so dead after the class but the instructor's cute!) Can slightly feel that my arms tightens after the class (ahemm...) but I was trembling throughout the class. The guy behind me must be laughing in silence >.<

We then headed over to DS's place for dinner and I was impressed! DS has good sense in home decorating - he practically transformed his apartment into a mini English cottage with artistic furnitures, lamps, chandeliers, candles, dishwares etc. Very comfortable and cosy little apartment. We brought pizzas while he himself prepared some sandwiches and his hubby, KS prepared some tong yuen in warm soy milk with rose tea and chocolates. Entertainment - I brought my PS2 along and plenty of camwhoring session with Braving's camera. Oh, I almost left out the vibrating dildo :p

Honey

*Monday, 25th August 2008*

I'm back.

Was in Ipoh last weekend, where I attended Defiant's convocation at UTP, Notroh Woods with his parents, brought them around for shopping and dinner as well.

I got to watch two movies as well, courtesy of my brother. Eight Below was touching and if you love dogs, I'm sure it'll make you weep. Second movie... I love it a lot. Jessica Alba stars in the 2003 Honey as a dance teacher/choreographer, so expect plenty of dancing, sexy moves, clubbing scenes, R&B and hip hop music.

Spoilers ahead, this is one of my favourite soundtrack from the movie. Do not click play if you're not up to it :p

I Believe - Yolanda Adams

Now where can I get the DVD...

Sexy My Arse

*Wednesday, 20th August 2008*

Once again, our "beloved" Islamic opposition party did it again.

Avril Lavigne

They urged the government to cancel a concert by Avril Lavigne which is scheduled to be performing in KL on 29th August. The youth wing of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party said Lavigne's concert would promote wrong values ahead of Malaysia's Aug. 31 independence day, saying the Canadian singer's on-stage moves are "too sexy,".

SEXY MY ARSE.

First of all, just to clarify, I'm not a fan of Avril. But I just can't stand it - who are they to judge her? In terms of sexy, I remember I saw Datin Seri Tiara Jacquelina posed in front of the local elite magazine, revealing her shoulders, neck and chest, with Bvlgari jewelries dangling from her neck till covered half of her breasts.

Not to mention about Elaine Daly, Syafinaz Selamat, Arianna Teoh, Cheryl Samad and many many more. Are they gonna say, "They're the elite group, so we can't touch them." ?? Such bullshit. Did the "whatever Syariah law" stated that the Malay elite females are spared?

Bull. Shit.

And also, who are they to make decision to ask for the concert cancellation on behalf of the other races??? They're just a minor opposition party. If they wanna ban, ban the Muslims from buying tickets for the show, other races still want the show on! We, the other races' thoughts are not as shallow as them and most important, we do not share the same sentiment as them.

Because of them too, Gwen Stefani's concert was almost cancelled last year, Christina Aguilera skipped Malaysia during an Asian tour, while Beyonce moved her show to Indonesia.

Niamah HKL~!

Read more here, here and here.

p/s: I was informed by Alexander that the government postponed the concert instead of cancel it. But we all know that PAS is still not happy about this. So, dear Malaysians, gays, lesbos, sisters, brothers, straights, couples, flings, friends, enemies... expect no show from Rihanna, Mariah or Pink in the future.

BFF's Blog Chain Story

*Tuesday, 19th August 2008*

A blog project initiated by Alexander - a chain story. First person will start the story, pass it to the next person, second person will create the next scene in the story in five sentences and pass it to the next person.... and so on.

Alexander
It wasn't a dark and stormy night - that's really a clichéd beginning for a story. For Julien, it was bright enough to see the faint outline of Philip's naked body. Philip was sleeping soundly on the silk satin bedsheet, but Julien just couldn't even get his eyes closed on that full moon night. He was looking out the dusty windows, lightly holding the almost empty wine glass. Then, he caught a glimpse of a shadow... who was this stranger in the night?

Janvier
Julien silently shut the window and kept in the shadows, to avoid being silhouetted in the moonlight. "Must get the job done quickly now," he thought while appreciating Philip's physique, "before he gets back." He downed the remains of the wine, then took out his garrotte.

Why do I always get the good-looking ones? he pondered as he got into bed, cradled Philip's head and slid the garrotte around Philip's neck. Then Julien yanked and Philip jerked awake, only to have Julien flip him facedown on the bed and pressed his body down on his, his face smothered by the pillow and Julien still strangling him, when the bedroom door slammed open.

Froggie
Julien retreat off of the bed leaving Philip's lifeless body. Swiftly he reached for his shirt, knocking the wine glass off the side table. "What have you done?!!", a loud voice came from the door, "Not this one, not right here!!". Julien stood by the bed quiet as a mice, with his head hanging low. The light from the door shine into the dark room, as if spotlighted onto Philip's body while a shadow grew longer reaching the face of Philip.

Api
But then it stopped. The creeping shadow halted, as if time stood still, and the approaching figures outside the door had frozen in place. Julien kept silent, his eyes and ears, vigilant, knowing that even the slightest of movements could trigger the shadows - the frozen figures that spoke of undesired calamity.

“For Hera’s sake, could you please keep that aside?! I strictly told you to refrain yourself from using the powerful one... Wait. He’s still in there. I can sense his energy. His fear. Even so, our beloved Phillip is far too devious to just play dead. Fine. Use it.”

It was a man, and he was not alone.

BunnyBan
One of the men produced a verrrry suspicious-looking phallic instrument about 8 inches long which he flicked on. Brilliant white light shone forth from it to illuminate the scene at the bed but Julien wasn't anywhere in sight.

"I really wish you didn't bring that obscene looking flash light of yours here. Couldn't you be a little more serious about work?"

"Oh, don't bother about me and keep concentrating on finding him."

Lifebook
"Just switch on light, dimwit!!"

Julien looked around him. Now he had to get a way out of the room, and it had to be quick before the guys found him. For the moment, jumping out from the windows was his only option.

After a minute of rummaging around, one of the guys managed to find the light switch.....

Defiant
"I found it!" he says and flicked the switch but nothing happened. The light wouldn't turn on and both of them turned their attention to the faulty switch.

This was the diversion Julien has been waiting for. Swiftly, he sprinted fast and silently like a cat towards the opened window. It was freezing cold with winter winds but he had to get out of there.

Leggie
"Stop right there if you still want to be in one piece." Julien froze as his mind was turning quick about what to do next when the light suddenly came on.

"You idiot, told you to switch on the lights and you got the socket." The man had a gun in his hand, pointing straight at Julien. "So you think you can get away this time? I don't think so."

"You must know, bullets won't do me any harm," Julien replied calmly, while still thinking about a way to get out of this situation.

"Heh heh... I have the powerful one to help me this time. It's game over for you now."

My turn:

"Is that so? Let's see how fast your bullets are," Julien replied and he dashed to the door with supersonic speed, knocked the second guy who is blocking at the door to the floor.

The first guy fires his gun towards Julien continuously but all of them misses the target, and without any hesitant, Julien sped to the main door but his steps stopped there.

"Hi Julien."

"Freddie... Get out of my way."

"Awwww... Why the rush? How long we haven't seen each other? Don't you miss me?"

I'll pass the torch to Chief next :p

Flirting For 4 Months

*Wednesday, 13th August 2008*

I guess the Brothers were already aware by this time that there's something going on in between me and Nivlac since.... err.... Beijing Olympic? The real date on when we knew each other was like back in March after my horror/depressing/thriller photoshoot album was published.

- 11st April 2008 -
Mr. Photographer: I got a friend wanted to get to know you ^^
Hyperion: Oh... uncle ar? Cute or not? :S
Mr. Photographer: Cute and very eligible. Haha. 30yo only. No more uncles.

And from that, the three of us began to do MSN conferencing quite often. Mr. Photographer tend to dish out some real blush-inducing comments to me on behalf of Nivlac.

Hyperion: Yeah, I have PS2 at home.
Nivlac: I wanna play that... I haven't got the chance to play FF X. The salesperson at Sg. Wang said that they're not selling PS2 anymore... just PS3.
Mr. Photographer: Haiye, no need to buy. Just ask Hyperion to pack all his stuff and move in with you at your new condo lah. Then both of you can play PS2 everyday... kekeke.
Nivlac: Yerrr... such obvious comment hor?

Nivlac: It's getting late... let's go to bed! :P
Mr. Photographer: Hmm...? Oh, you two ar? Hehe... Have fun! Good night!
Nivlac: :P
Hyperion: *pretend dumb* I don't understand wor.

The flirting continues....
But we didn't meet each other.... not until I accidentally bumped into them at Frangipani during Jin's birthday celebration in May. Which I quickly hid myself after shaking hands with them (can't show them my tomato face!). An impromptu meeting, that's it.

Only in late July... Janvier and I were chatting and somehow, we mentioned about Nivlac where Janvier got the whole idea of the flirting process and started scheming a plan to bring Nivlac out for a better up-close observation. Hence, the Klang BKT trip.

As Janvier spreading the news to everyone in the group, I was bombarded with loads of questions about my sudden attachment and it seems that everyone has been very eager to meet him. Will get the chance soon, don't worry.

Apart from the excitement (been looking forward to the weekends nowadays), I'm kind of worried as well. Been used to the singleton's lifestyle for more than one year, it is a little trick I have to learn all over again to juggle in between friends (at least 2 groups of friends), my own time and him.

So far, it seems like I've passed the "test" from his friends aka the sisterhood :p

He's been mentioning about cooking stuff lately. Means I need to brush up my cooking skill again.

The Connection

*Friday, 8th August 2008*

Very special day indeed. You only encounter today's date once.
And it is the opening ceremony of the 2008 Summer Olympics Games in Beijing, China!

Anyway, that is not what I wanted to talk about.

I suddenly felt that the gay community in KL is... small.

Never mind that. I'm just bored anyway.

Going to catch the Olympic game opening ceremony at Nivlac's house tonite with Braver, The Sinner and another few gays. Have a great weekend ahead.

The Story of BKT, Klang, Bloggers and "Yerr"

*Wednesday, 6th August 2008*

Janvier planned a BKT breakfast session in Klang 2 weeks ago. The actual date is Saturday and in order not to make them to come and pick me from Cheras, I slept over at Nivlac's new studio condo in PJ on Friday night.

Together with Chief, Nivlac and DC (all gym goers except me), I forced myself to woke up early and by the time we reach the specified place at Pandamaran, it was already 9.30am. The place was packed but we managed to secure a table. After waited for about 30mins, the pork were served. Slightly different from the usual BKT I had before as it is served in individual bowl, not claypot and not much soup were given. Taste pretty mild too.

We then took a leisure walk at Jusco Bukit Tinggi which is reported to be the largest Jusco store in Asia. The three of them also brought Chief and me into the FF outlet there for a tour.

Hyperion: I think Alexander will plop on the floor after one session of BodyPump with this. *holding the 10kg barbell*

We had lunch at Bar.B.Q Plaza (attracted to the ads outside the premise), a Thailand company which serves barbeque and simple steamboat... the food were just so so. Nivlac then brought us to Jalan Nanas for cendol (nice one!) before we left Klang and head back to his condo. While he gotta attend gym class, I took a short nap and by 6.30pm, we headed to KLCC for dinner with Braver (BravingKL) and The Sinner (For I Have Sinned).

The Sinner: So, where to eat?
Nivlac: Ask Braver to choose cos he always say no to our suggestions.
Braver: Yerr, where got??
Nivlac: Got lah, you always want expensive food what.
The Sinner: Ask Hyperion to choose.
Hyperion: Em.... Bongsen?
Braver: Yerr, not nice lar.
Nivlac: House of Sundanese.
The Sinner: Yerr, that one also not nice.
Braver: Em... let's go California Pizza Kitchen! *excited*
Nivlac: Yerr, Braver always go for Western one.
Braver: Yerr, where got wor...?
Nivlac: Ok ok, Little Penang Kafe.
Braver: Yerrrr....... ok lah, ok lah.

It was amusing, so I joined in the "yerr" frenzy but I found that I used that word quite often and sometimes, subconsciously. I've lost count on how many "yerr" I heard that night (including mine) :p

We then adjourned to Domé for drinks and more "yerr" where we talked about travelling and holiday destination throughout the night. Such bliss for a normal Saturday.

曾經愛你永遠愛你

It's Been... One Year!

*Wednesday, 30th July 2008*

One year ago...

He buzzed me on MSN.

"Hi, I got your MSN from your blog."

"Hello there... you are?"

"Janvier Soldat."

"Janvier...?"

First thought - Ooh... a foreigner!
But it turns out to be a Chinese.

"You mentioned "we"... you mean you and your bf?"

It turns out that he actually address himself as "we".

"Oh Cheras. We used to go to the OTK there on Fridays for boardgames."

That was before he got someone else to spend his Friday night with :p

So, we met up on 29th July 2007 for the first time for lunch at Co Do, Midvalley.

"We need to bring the laptop for diagnostic."
"We always wonder how a flogger do his job."
"Alex might have all the collection. You know, Alexander The Gay? He likes classical music."
"So, we shall tapau satay at SS2 first before dropping you off at Nigel's place."

On second meeting, he brought me to meet with the rest of the group, which we slowly became very close with each other. We ogle at hunks, we celebrate birthdays, we partied, we go clubbing, we go for movies, dinners and finally, we travel to a foreign land for holiday.

So Janvier, this post is for you.

It was my luck to have met you, where you brought me to meet all these wonderful people, else I would have still be... myself.

Love ya.

P/S: Chief, don't be jealous lah, okie? :p

Bunking Bangkok, Day 3

*Monday, 28th July 2008*

We woke up the next day, feeling a little dissatisfied with the lack of camwhoring activities throughout the trip and so the four of us (Defiant, Janvier, Chief and me) decided to visit the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, while Daemon and Xavier headed to a mini photographing studio in Siam Discovery (if I'm not mistaken) to have their first studio photographs taken.

Photobucket
The Grand Palace and bright morning sun

The sun was shining mercilessly upon us that morning (this means disaster for Janvier). Met Will.i.am, Cheryl, Derek and CK at the entrance and camwhoring activities started. While they were busy taking pictures and admiring the building structures, me on the other hand was busy looking around, scavenging for any cuties :p

I actually like my pictures taken here by Chief. Somehow, my eye bags weren't so visible in his pictures (did he edit them? Or it's Sony's processor? :p )

We then headed to MBK again without Will.i.am's team (we got SMS from Jin saying that they're on the way to the Grand Palace by boat ride when we left) for shopping. Stopped at McThai for lunch and we were kinda amused by the lady sitting next to us. Whenever Janvier tried to take pictures of the food, she will use her magazine or hat to shield her face!

MBK is kinda similar to our smaller scale of Mid Valley (minus the lalas). The first shop we went was the video store where the guys busy browsing the gay section. Xavier and Daemon joined us shortly after and we finally managed to get ourselves some real shopping stuff.

For myself:

Belt - Chatuchak
One pair of sneakers - MBK
One pair of jeans - MBK

Got SMS from Alexander saying that we should have group dinner since it's our last night in Bangkok. Daemon insisted that we go for M2M (man to man) massage before dinner so Defiant, Daemon and I went to Andy's Man Massage (located somewhere behind the lanes in Silom street). Personally, I don't really like the way we choose the masseurs. The masseurs will stand in one room, separated from us by a glass window and we'll pick the one that we want, similar like those in police station as seen in HK dramas. Massage was 600 Baht per hour and minimum tips for masseur was 500 baht (total 1100 Baht for no extra service), while minimum tips was 1000 Baht (total 1600 Baht for extra service).

We were then led upstairs to individual rooms where he asked me to take a shower first. Then I get to lay down on the massage bed, totally nude (both of us!) and he start working on my legs and slowly to the waist and shoulders. It was quite an awkward moment as we didn't speak to each other (some people told me that their masseurs will chat with them but mine was different). He pressed my thighs a little too strong at some times... pain and a bit ticklish at the same time.

One thing I noticed was... he constantly touches my butt and the anus part. When I turned around, chest facing upward, he started to touch my tool... Then he lifted both my legs and put them on his lap! (It's lap, NOT shoulders. You must be thinking of some missionary pose!)

Then, he bit my chest... = ="

I pushed him but it's the no-energy-type-of-pushing cos his tongue was good :P
While I was contemplating whether I should ask him to stop or continue, he moved his tongue from the left to the right side.... damn, I really felt weak at the moment and I sensed that I was slowly getting a hard on!

I finally pushed him away. He was a bit confused and ask me "You don't want to cum?"
I replied, "No" and he seems disappointed (because he'll get less tips?).

The three of us then rushed to Lek Seafood restaurant below Chong Nonsi BTS station to catch up with the rest (we were late by the way) but Will.i.am and his team already left. We don't feel like eating there so we headed back to Suriwongse street for hawker food with Xavier and went for "aquarium" show. There was this particular go-go boy who kept on staring at both Daemon and Xavier the whole night. :)

Bunking Bangkok, Day 2

*Tuesday, 22nd July 2008*

After the long night of partying, we woke up quite late the next morning. Will.i.am and the rest already left the guesthouse earlier for breakfast. The few of us dragged ourselves to shower and then ready to brave the weekend market of Chatuchak. We took the sky train from Saladaeng station to the last station of Mo Chit where Chatuchak Garden is just below the station.

Photobucket
Roadside stall selling tea and coffee.

It's my third time here and I'm never bored of it, simply because the place is too huge to be explored entirely in one day. They do distribute maps of the area but we didn't get any until we were about to leave. With a list of items on hand, the 6 of us ventured into the market where Janvier & Chief left us shortly after.

1. Shirts (corny, stripes, tight fitting, cute etc)
2. Accesorries (pendant, chain, necklace, wrist band, ring etc)
3. Crockery (2 plain, white colour serving dish for my boss)
4. Junk food (dried mango for Orson)
5. Pants (at least one pair of jeans)
6. Shoes (one pair of sneakers)
7. Souvenirs

I think Xavier and Daemon bought the most things before we stopped by a small stall for lunch (flip flops, shirts, accessories). They serve some simple Japanese food but nice stuff. We continue our quest after lunch where we occasionally bumped into the others (Will.i.am, Cheryl) and the Baan Saladaeng group. After 5 hours, we decided call it a day and took the train to get back to our guesthouse. Pretty disappointed trip it was for me and Defiant as we weren't able to buy much! I failed to complete my missions on the list except for one belt, one shirt and some souvenirs. Argh... I want my kinky shirts! >_< style="font-style: italic;">dark and humid place, clad in towel. Instead, we joined Janvier and Chief for dinner in a Japanese restaurant in Siam Paragon called Fuji, while Baan Saladaeng group went for a Siamese cultural show at Siam Niramit.

We rushed to MBK after dinner, only to arrived at the time when the shops are closing (shopping complex in BKK closes at 9pm and some latest by 9.30pm). No "shopping luck" for us again, so we decided to come here again the next day.

Went back to Silom and regroup with Will.i.am, Cheryl, KH, CK, Daemon and Xavier where they suddenly feel like going for a go-go boys show. After contemplating a while in front of the go-go street (with annoying staffs harassing us), Chief brought us to a club further down the street of Suriwongse called Tawan club. The place is almost fully occupied but the shows are kinda bored. Well, maybe because I have been watching all these shows for my past trips and they're all the same (playing with candle, fire, whips, cock display, dancing, blowjobs etc etc). Even Chief himself claimed that it's boring.

Bunking Bangkok, Day 1

*Monday, 21st July 2008*

Dem.... our long planned Bangkok trip ended in a blink of eye. To return to work after spent 4 days 3 nights there really is a.... pain in the arse. In addition to that, Lifebook wasn't able to make it at the last minute due to some work commitments...

Nasser's AirAsia meal - Roti Jala with curry chicken.

Anyway, it was my best trip there so far. I decided to travel light; only brought 3 tees, one jeans, cash, grooming tools (this is a MUST bring items), camera (another MUST bring item) etc. Our flight is at 1.40pm and luckiy, no delay but we didn't take a group photo at the Suvarnabhumi Airport. The 15 of us were then split into 2 groups; one group booked the hotel at Baan Saladaeng (Savante, Alexander, Jin, Nasser, BunnyBan) while another group at Take A Nap hostel (both are in Silom district). I shared the 6 beds dorm at Take A Nap with Daemon, Xavier, Defiant and CK (Cheryl's friend) which is about 10 mins away from Saladaeng BTS Station. I did the stupidest thing there - I locked the safe box and unable to open it after that. Luckily I haven't put my passport in it. :p

Food court inside Central World.

After refreshed ourselves a bit, we waste no time and the 10 of us decided to visit Central World. Took 2 cabs there but the first cab (Xavier, Daemon, Chief, Janvier & Defiant) seems to stopped at the different entrance of the mall, hence we were separated and I'm stucked with Will.i.am, KH, Cheryl and CK. Went to Zara and a few shops as they were having sales but the Q detered me from getting anything... and we had our first Bangkok dinner at the food court (small and not much choice). I ordered the Tom Yum Goong spaghetti which lack of flavour (this was my only Tom Yam meal!)

We then loitered inside the mall and spent most of the time at the underwear section and a local handbag boutique called NaRaYa. Got mom a small brown coin purse that costs 55 baht (RM 5.50! Cheap cheap cheap!) while Cheryl was buying like there's no tomorrow. Waited for the rest of the group to arrive, we headed back to hostel and this time, I'm stucked with the Baan Saladaeng group... While we were on the way to BTS station, Savante made a detour and we ended up at McThai (McDonald's) somewhere behind Gaysorn. Before we left, the guys took picture with the Ronald McDonald's with the "wai" gesture where Savante showed a shocking slut pose we never seen before!

Nasser: The doctor really changed when he stepped into this land.
Hyperion: Must be the air. Or water. Or food.

Oh well... :p

Jin jumping around at the BTS station.

We hurried back to the hotel, showered (the weather was freakingly hot and humid), I put on my corniest tee I bought from Chatuchak last year and walked to DJ Station (about 10 mins away) to meet up with the rest of the group. Seriously... DJ Station rocks! It was so crowded, it's really difficult to walk around. The best thing was it's not allowed to smoke inside the club and the air-conds were blasting at full speed. Plenty of hotties and cuties... "There's one on your right." "Wait, his friends were cute too." "Oh, there's another one on the podium." "He's dragging his buddies on the podium too." "OMG, they're stripping!"

I felt really calm and relax there... as if it's my little sanctuary. The people there were very outgoing and friendly. As we shake our booties, there was this particular guy, around early 30s in a pink and white stripes polo tee, small eyes, spiky hair that catches my attention. He was with another two friends, Chinese I assumed and they were dancing just next to us. I sensed that he was trying to read what my shirt says. We exchanged quite plenty of eye contacts and occasionally, smirks.

Hyperion: Did you see that guy in pink polo tee?
Daemon: Yeah. He's kinda cute, isn't it?
Hyperion: Yeah. And he was looking at us most of the time.

So, I did something out of my normal self... I purposely try to get near him and when he was just in front of me (his back is facing me), I turn around and rub my back and my butt to his! I think he must have sensed it, as I felt that he was like trying to press his to mine seconds later. This continued for a few minutes before the ever expanding crowd pushed us away.

We decided to escape from the crowd and went upstairs. We were standing near the balcony when another guy, in his late 30s, long hair, black tank tops leaning at the divider stares at my shirt and whispered something to his friend next to him. His friend then came forward to greet me.

Guy: Hi, how are you?
Hyperion: I'm fine, thanks.
Guy: Where do you come from?
Hyperion: Malaysia.
Guy: Oh I see. *points to the long hair guy* This is Gerard. From Philippines.
Hyperion: *Smiles and nod*
Guy: Why aren't you drinking?
Hyperion: Cos I get drunk fast.

At this point, you can hear the guys giggling and whispering away... = ="

Defiant scored that night when a Thai boy approached him for a dance and both of them disappeared later on. We finally left the club without Defiant as he was no where to be found and went for supper at the Burger King next door. I was going to take my seat when a Caucasian guy sitting at the left side came over.

Caucasian Guy: *look and stares at my shirt* Excuse me, can you tell me where did you get that shirt?
Hyperion: *a bit confused* Er... Chatuchak.
Caucasian Guy: Sorry but can you please get up and show it to my friend there?
Hyperion: Err... okay. *stood up and display my shirt like a dummy*
Caucasian Guy: Thanks a lot. That was a really nice shirt.
Hyperion: Haha, thank you.

And the guys started to giggle again. I suddenly feel so proud of my tee. :p

Defiant finally showed up with his newly met Thai boy and a love bite on his neck!

Defiant: I can't help it. He wanna bite. Gosh, I feel like my nipple's a bit pain too.

That concludes our first day in Bangkok :)

Food, Food And More Food

*Wednesday, 9th July 2008*

I have been doing freelance food review for a local food portal organization for the past few months. They make arrangement with a particular establishment and I'll go there to sample their food, take pictures, do interviews and come up with the article to be publish on the site. So far, I have came up with 6-7 articles on different restaurants, all done voluntarily.

I got an email from them 2 days ago. Apparently, they wanna do coverage on our local street/hawker food as well and they picked me for the task. Their reasons were "cos I did a good job on article writing" and "my astounding food photography skills".

WTH.

Well, it's not that I rejected them. I accepted. But I seriously don't think that my photography skill was that amazing. I'm just an amateur with a 5 megapixel compact digital camera. No cash to buy DSLR (anyone care to donate? :p )

Anyway, I digress. According to the mail, I got RM 100/month as subsidy for the task too (the guy just SMS-ed me that they banked in the money to my account). Not quite sufficient but hey, I got paid. And I'm free to do whatever I want; no fixed article submission, no time constrain, no particular preference.

More reason to give my "mutant" friends (I'm starting to use this word again) a dinner treat. =)

Bunking Bangkok

*Saturday, 5th July 2008*

I'm blogging this from office. Yeah, I'm working today (full shift, 8.30am - 5.00pm) to do some test on the systems. Pretty easy task actually.

On a side note, today marks exactly one week to my third Bangkok trip. Time really flies! I still remembers that I was talking to Alexander on GTalk last December about how nice it would be if the whole gang could gather together and make a trip to somewhere out of Malaysia. Coincidentally, Jin informed us at the same time that AirAsia is having RM6 fare promotion. Upon hearing this, without any hesitant, we decided to make it a reality.

Emails been sent to the entire group and feedbacks were good. When talking about traveling, they can act pretty fast, you know...

Hyperion: Hey, should we get the tickets first? I worry that it'll be sold out soon. We can plan about the hotel issue later.

Lifebook: I have booked the ticket. Done..

Janvier: Savante and mine (ours) are booked.

Cheryl: I have done the booking for my partner, William & KH and myself.

Alexander: Jin, Defiant and mine - Done.

Nasser: Booked ours (me + BunnyBan). Left Xavier and Daemon.

Hyperion: What the heck, you guys left me alone!

*Excerpt from Gmail conversations.

So, yeah, there will be approximately 15 of us (14 gays and 1 straight girl). I call it "the historical trip" as I'm pretty sure there will be no more such big group ("gays + bloggers + close friends" combination) to travel along in the future. Everyone will be busy with their own life (promotion, work, families, partner etc). Who knows what will happen in the future.

Traffic jam at Silom Road, Bangkok

Come to think of it, next week's trip is my first holiday trip this year and my third trip to the Land of Smiles. I would love to have more holiday but I can't due to some reasons. And yes, I love Bangkok for the friendly people, authentic Thai food, shopping places, new things to see and ahemmm... the cute guys of course. Maybe because it's also a country of high tolerant on gays, I like it even more.

Visiting a gay tolerant city with close gay friends. I can't wait.

But after this trip, I don't think I'll be coming back again for a period of time... Wish to visit other places such as Langkawi, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore on my future trips. Anybody wanna join?
