Half Day's Out

*Tuesday, 28th August 2007*

Ipohan fellow mutants, Imag (Jeffrey) and BluEd (Eddie) came to KL for one day trip last Sunday. A weird one day trip, that's it. One would expect them to come on Saturday as it's party night but unable to make it for some weird reasons (again).

The trip obviously wasn't a good one. You see, we missed almost all the buses and trains. Waste time waiting for the next one. And when you put 2 undecisive mutants together, you get double heart-attack. Maybe smoke rising from the head as well.

Azzuro Hyperion: Where you guys wanna go?
Imag & BluEd: Anywhere lah.
Azzuro Hyperion: What you guys wanna have for lunch?
Imag: Cincai lah, I eat anything.
BluEd: I'm ok with anything.

*Arteries expanding at forehead.*

Azzuro Hyperion: Fast food or food court?
Imag: You decide.

*Feels like wanna pinch and twist his nipples there.*

Throughout the trip, they only mention 2 things.
"How come you can walk so fast under such hot weather?" Excuse me, I'm called Azzuro Hyperion lah.

"You really don't want to pak tor again?" Yayaya, told you millions of times already. Being single is not bad what.

Drive lah next time

By the time we're heading back to my house, it's funny to see them panting and mumbling about tired, aching legs. So remember to drive next time, guys.

Superheroes VS Mutant

As I mentioned before, I need to watch the tv at work. Last week, I came across a commercial on a game show called "Who Wants To Be A Superhero?" Seem interesting, I googled it and apparently, it's another US game show where the participants need to do stunts and act like a super hero in their own designed super hero costumes (suddenly made me think of Edna Mode in The Incredibles). The winner will get his character to star in Stan Lee's Dark Horse comic book and appear in an original movie to be aired on Sci Fi Channel.

Pose, pose...

I bet everyone, especially boys did watch and dream to be a superhero when small. I don't know about you, but I'm glad that they brought Spiderman, Fantastic Four and X-Men to the silver screen.

And for some reasons, I like X-Men as there's some issues of homosexuality "hidden" behind the storyline. Like queers, these mutants discover their "difference" during puberty and struggle to hide it from friends and family. They forge their self-identity when they meet others like them. And they grow up learning to fight the system that shuns and persecutes them.

Shall I introduce our new mutant superheroes from my "Members of The Brotherhood" then?

Work Or Eye Candy?

*Tuesday, 21st August 2007*

I hate numbers and calculations but now, I got to see them everyday because of work. They're on my desk, computer, papers and etc.... Argh~!

But there's something different from the other office. There's a TV set here, you know. I guess it's a must have item in all investment offices where the remisiers, brokers and dealers got their first hand information on the global financial market everyday. Bloomberg, CNBC...

So, I was "forced" to lay my eyes on those graphs, numbers, indexes (blah blah blah) everyday.... It's sooo boring. And somehow, my boss and me (there's only 2 of us in the room) started to ogle at two male news reporter from CNBC.

Every morning, we'll comment on Arnold Gay (such a coincidence!) and Adam Bakhtiar:

Boss: Arnold is wearing specs today.
Me: Uh.. yeah. He looks better like that.
Boss: I think that makes him look much older lah.

***

Me: Oh, Adam come out so late today.
Boss: Look at his eyes. As if he's lack of sleep.
Me: Maybe he is. :P Eh, he wears purple tie!
Boss: And light purple shirt!

***

Me: Arnold disappeared! Didn't see him for whole day.
Boss: He took leave, I presumed.
Me: Adam took over his job now...
*grin*

There you have, two of my "virtual colleagues". Back to work for me.... :(

Aching All Over

*Thursday, 16th August 2007*

Nooo... I think I'll fall sick soon. When I woke up this morning, my head was heavy, stiff shoulder, neck and back ache. Hell. Was hoping to sleep a little longer....

Feels energy-less now. My neck was like gonna broken into two, anytime. I guess I'll grab some bread and hot drink for dinner tonight and ZzZZzZZz after that.

Anyone wanna offer me a blanket?

Saturday High Fever

*Wednesday, 15th August 2007*

Sensei sms-ed me last week, asking whether I'm coming back to Ipoh on Saturday. I told her yes and she said she got 8TV Summer Live Concert ticket for me. Yippie!

Upon my arrival in Ipoh on Friday night, posters and banners about the concert can be seen almost everywhere, from lamp posts to shopping complex and parking bays.

We decided to go earlier, afraid that there will be a mass jam and difficulties to find parking space around the Padang Ipoh area but because of me, we arrived there 15 minutes before the event started. :P

Although it's scheduled to start at 8.30pm, but we had to wait till the Maghrib praying session over... that's 8.50pm. *speechless*
While waiting, the hosts and dancers entertained the crowds with Macarena dance, it was a dance party concert after all.

I absolutely have no regret for attending the event eventhough the weather in Ipoh is freakingly warm (just like summer!). George Lam and Sandy Lam's voices were marvelous despite their age. Both the twins of 2moro were so cute but I like the younger brother more :P

Younger brother is the left one!

Other performers on the list include Gary Chaw, Danny Wan Li Ming, Wing Yi, Malaysian Idol champion, Daniel Lee, The Cross from Korea and etc.. And the audience gone crazy when JJ Lin and FIR made their way on the stage, especially youngsters. Everyone were jumping, yelling and sang along with their favourite artistes.

It's good that such big event took place in Ipoh as Ipoh is truly a boring and quiet place. And the event somehow, changed my perception on live shows. You don't need to be a fan of any of the artiste to watch it. It's the experience, performance and company that counts.

Tagged! 8 Random Facts About Azzuro Hyperion

*Friday, 10th August 2007*

Yay, my first meme on this blog! I was tagged by Fable Frog *croaaak* on revealing 8 random facts about me the other day and I've been cracking my head, trying to figure out what to put.. so here goes:

The rules of this tag:

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.

2. List eight (8) random facts about yourself.

3. Tag eight people at the end of your post and list their names (linking to them).

4. Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving them a comment on their blogs.

*~*~*~*~*~*

Number 1: I grew up to be quite independent on my own. When I go back to visit my parents, some of my friends will volunteer to give a ride but I used to reject their offer. I prefer to take bus, although it's horrible.

Number 2: Going to be 25 this year but I only go into relationship once. That lasted for almost 4 years and then gone.

Number 3: Like Ryan, I sufferred from depression. When I was in college, I like to be alone. I never take any initiative to talk to any of my collegemates and I like to sit in one corner, away from the other students during break time.

Number 4: I like to sing, but not on stage or places with crowds! I joined Choir Club when I was in secondary school and we won the 1st place for Daerah Kinta 1 in year 1999. My voice back then was better, though. = =;

Number 5: My favourite food - popiah. Favourite dessert - ice cream and gelato. Favourite drink - ais kacang.

Number 6: My earliest sexual contact was at 8 year old. Maybe that makes me gay eh?

Number 7: I hate ginger and sneezing.

Number 8: Was caught red-handed by my mom for "playing" with my younger brother when I was 12 year old. Luckily he didn't turn to gay :P I wonder if my mom suspects me now...

That's all laa... The next nominees are:

Ah, not gonna tag 8 people for this. Pity them la. ^^
Have a nice weekend, everyone!

Grrr Power

*Thursday, 9th August 2007*

I have a strange preference. I like girls. Ops, I mean I like to watch girl in combat. For me, I think they're cool and I always get excited whenever I watch them kicking those baddies' asses. Don't you think so?

There's many more but don't think I can mention them all here... I'm going back to see my parents tomorrow night and gotta embrace my beloved PS2 whole night :P

Nasty Shirts

*Tuesday, 7th August 2007*

On the day I had "date" with Janvier, I wore one of the shirt below. And then he told me that he won't dare to wear those unless he's not staying with family. So I supposed my mom should have known about my "true identity" by now?

All these were bought during my trip to Bangkok early this year. 120 Baht per piece. And I'm gonna buy more on my upcoming trip this November, buahahahaa~~~~

Oh... for those who can't understand Mandarin, here's a closer look on what that Chinese word mean... :P The first time J saw me in this shirt, he yelled, "Why are you wearing that piece of shit???"

Raw Recruit? If only we can substitute guns and bullets with this... our world will be so much fun and peaceful! ROFL!

And the nastiest of them all.... No no, that does not justify my personality. I still remember every guy whom I slep... er, I mean hang out with clearly. :P Did I mention that my memory sucks?

Superb Sunday

*Thursday, 2nd August 2007*

Had a "lunch date" with Janvier last Sunday, after searching high and low throughout the floggers' archives for a place to dine, we stepped into Co Do for some Vietnamese treats.

And our itinerary for the day? Lunch, chat chat chat, walk walk walk, bookstore and DVD store browsing, chat chat chat, walk walk walk, eyeing on some cool and macho dudes, drinks and a few neighbourhood spin in his car. And we stopped by SS2 for satay shopping before he sends me over to Nigel's place for potluck party.

Although arrived kinda late from the schedule (due to some directions error), the food were marvelous. And the laughter, it's contagious! Shall plan for the second party soon, it's so much fun.

Thanks a million, Jan! Love to see ya again ;)
