Dreaming My Way Home - Barbara Kessler
(Ending theme of Rogue Galaxy)

There is a place, I'm longing for tonight
A place I love, so far far away
That lives in my heart, a treasure buried deep inside
And I'll keep wandering, till I find it again someday...

Somewhere the flowers are in bloom
A candle burning in a room
There is comfort in the darkest night
Even when there is no star in sight..

Everytime I close my eyes is all I see
I am haunted by a timeless memory
and no matter what I do or where I roam...
I will still be dreamin my way home..

Time froze but I kept moving on
All I have loved, all I have known
I turn around, and in a moment it was gone
Still I believe, I'm never far from home..

Somewhere the flowers are in bloom
I can almost smell their perfume
Somewhere a candle still burning bright
brings comfort to the darkest night..

Everytime I close my eyes is all I see
I get lost inside a timeless revery
and no matter what I do or where I roam
I will still be dreaming my way home...

Everytime I close my eyes is all I see
I am haunted by a timeless memory
and no matter what I do or where I roam..
I will still be dreaming my way home...

I will still be dreaming my way home...

Feed The Eyes & The Shopaholic Soul

*Monday, 28th January 2008*

The Chinese will be celebrating Chinese New Year in about 10 days from today. Ever since lil' brother came to KL for an early shopping spree with his girlfriend at the end of December (freaking early, I know), New Year songs have been a major hit in most shopping complexes and also, sales.

So I decided to join in the shopping craze yesterday but before that, we went to Sri Petaling for dim sum breakfast (it's been a very long time since my last dim sum meal). The food were just average but quite pricey. But the main attraction wasn't the food....

See what I mean?

We then proceed to Mid Valley (as there's plenty of shops to "look see look see" than other places) and got into the wrong parking space. Instead of going down to Mid Valley Megamall's parking area, we went up to Garden's! But okay lah, it's not so congested here (main reason must be because of the parking charges).

Garden was pretty quiet although it was a Sunday. The guys wasn't too interested to explore the mall so I suggest to go to 2201 (main reason: hope to bump into Jonathan Cheng there :P ) but nope, he's not around. All his creations displayed there are for ladies! Hmmm... Then I saw a photo catalogue on a desk with him modelling in the pictures. But we saw something else better from the corner opposite Jonathan's! Hehe.

After spent some time there trying on some nice clothes, we went over to Mid Valley Megamall and OMG, it's so packed! Family day + Chinese New Year shopping... oh well. And there's a fashion show by a few shops that selling oriental-styled apparels such as Noir and Chinatown Classic.

Doesn't he looks familiar? My friend likes him in the red Mouse shirt with white long sleeve shirt and red scarf.

I must admit, I never knew that shopping is fun! (To those I called shopping freak or shopping maniac or shopaholic or whatever, I sincerely apologise to you here).

I'm thinking of a second round since Defiant haven't got his new year shirts yet. :P

Let's seee... these pictures are form the Red Carnival by PT Foundation last month. Our poor Defiant was one of the volunteer there and since none of the guys are free to meet him, I make the exception and went to spy him in his bling bling + diva mask at Sg Wang Plaza. See the guy on stage? Defiant mentioned that he looks cute. I also got myself a Bunny pin.

It was Christmas Eve and I was out with my Ipoh friends and my REAL godbrother, CY to Bukit Bintang when we spotted this macho, tall guy with his shirt, unbuttoned almost till the navel at Pavilion. Luckily he stopped at the main entrance to take pictures with his friends and I took the opportunity to take his pictures. On CY's request, of course :P

Brother came to KL on 29th and 30th Dec for early Chinese New Year shopping with his girlfriend and I have to be their tour guide. Main target = "lala" style clothing. *Blergh* They claimed that KL's prices are much cheaper than Ipoh (I wonder if that's true). We went to Times Square (lala spot No. 1), Petaling Street and Sg Wang Plaza (lala spot No. 2). See the Mickey bag? They went back to Ipoh with that large bag full with lala stuffs. My brother is richer than me, didn't you see that? *sulks*

Lastly, I bagged The Most Kissable Lips 2007 blogger award on the year end floggers party. Prize: lipbalm for men, one piece! (Never heard of lipbalm for men before) I wonder if my lips will glitter if I put this on (Ewww....) :P

It's All About The Picture

*Friday, 4th January 2008*

Have you ever came across a banner or billboard by the street or LRT station or men grooming booklet and say "This guy looks familiar" or wondered whether the male model is one of us?

I do, most of the time.

If you're at Mid Valley Megamall, go to the cinema floor. From the cinema, walk to the opposite way, look up on your left, you'll see a saloon. See the guy on the billboard? He's also one of the finalist of the NewIcon For Him magazine's 2007 calendar.

If you notice the new Hong Leong Investment Bank billboard at certain LRT stations, you'll see him. Visit his personal homepage here.

You probably saw him in Axcest before. He's also one of the contestant in the first season of 8TV's I Want To Be Model.

And after watching Metrosexual last Monday at New Year Eve's party, does anyone feel like doing outdoor photo shooting? I feel like doing that. Too bad that our photographers didn't watch it. :(

Alright, time to grab my lunch. Toodle loo.

2008 New Year Eve Party @ Lifebook's Lair

*Thursday, 3rd January 2008*

Welcome to 2008.

*Rewind to last Monday...

Plans made, transportation and accomodation arranged. The Brotherhood crashed Lifebook's lair at Damansara for another round of bitching and orgy food, laughter, games and movie on New Year's Eve. Well, at least it's far better to have a countdown at a friend's house than get stucked in the jam or crowds outside there.

Lucky for us, his brothers went back to hometown so we had the house all to ourselves. Initial plan was to have the party by the pool (plus the "used condom hunting" game) but the house itself was much comfortable than the pool :P

Not much pics to post as most of them are face-pics and the guys are too shy to show their faces here.

Fall down into a big tray of icing sugar :P

What a pose...

We had a few rounds of games (Mafia + Mad Gab + Charades) accompanied by a few rounds of ice cream treats, Lifebook's friend till late and the gang (minus a few of them) spent some quality time together by watching Metrosexual (rather than sleep!) till er... 5.30am? And amazingly, everyone manages to wake up at 10am the next day (the power of holiday eh?).

*Fast forward to present time...

Oh well. Welcome to 2008.
And thanks to Lifebook again.
