Free Foldover!

*Thursday, 29th May 2008*

Remember the stupid driver post? Well, after the bus left, I went to get another ticket and then off to a nearby McDonald's, behind Starbucks for dinner.

I had the usual McChicken value meal, while sitting at the table opposite the counter. There are plenty of the recent Big Mac chant posters around, where you must complete the chant in 4 seconds in order to get a free Big Mac.

“Two All-Beef Patties,
Special Sauce, Lettuce,
Cheese, Pickles, Onions
On A Sesame Seed Bun!”

Anyway, I digress.

So, after the meal, it was still early anyway. I took out my book and while I was busy scribbling, a staff came over, placed a Spicy Beef Foldover box on my table and left.

Although I think it's a bit weird, I ignore it cos I thought maybe it's just a box.
But after a few minutes, curiosity got into me so I opened the box and gasp... the box is not empty! THERE IS A FOLDOVER INSIDE.

For a moment,

"Yay! Free food!"

But then,

"Nah, not interested in beef foldover and I'm already stuffed."

So I got my bags, took the tray to the counter and gave it back to the staff there. She just look at me in confusion. How come McDonald's hire such bimbo by the way? Sigh.

By the way, I didn't feel good after doing a good deed. I should have just took it and eat it on the bus. :p

Very Familiar

*Monday, 26th May 2008*

I entered the compound.

Almost everything still look pretty much the same.

Your white coupe is there.
The plants you hanged on the pillars and wall are there.
The plants your dad planted at the left compound are there.
HeMan is there, although he look more like a single-headed Cerberus now.

There's something different.

You got a miniature Pinscher.
There's a pond at the compound now.
And more plants.

I entered the house.

You have a Wii.
There are two huge vases next to the TV cabinet.
Decors bought in Thailand and Cambodia.
Coffee table near the kitchen.
Mahjong table.
Da Vinci's Vitruvian Man poster.

I entered the room.

Very, very, very familiar scent.
Very, very, very familiar lighting.
Very, very, very familiar wall colours.
Very, very, very familiar bathroom setting.
Very, very, very familiar shower curtain. That's the one I chose, isn't it?

You moved on with yours.

So do I.

Stupid Driver

*Sunday, 25th May 2008*

Luck is not at my side lately.

There was a massive jam at Jalan Raja Chulan last Friday when I was on my way to bus station. As bus will be leaving at 8.30pm and I only have 15 minutes left, I decided to walk from AmBank to the station with two bags.

Which resulted my shoulders, both legs, butt are aching like mad the next day. It's like I've been gang-banged by several hunks who love rough sex.... sounds so salah, I know :p

As I said, luck is not at my side.

Though I made it to the station in precisely 15 mins, the bus driver refused to let me board the bus and asked me to take the next one at 10pm. Which means I have to fork out another RM 13 for the ticket.

Anyone 22 this year? :)

I Think I Like Clubbing

*Tuesday, 20th May 2008*

For the first time in six years, I think I like clubbing.

The warriors celebrated Jin and Api's birthdays (last Friday and Saturday respectively) at Frangipani and Marketplace (the new hangout place for pink "non-ciku" guys as described by Braver).

What happened on Friday: Few of them had dinner with Jin at Frangipani, French fine dining restaurant located on ground floor. Alexander set the "neck gear" theme for the party, hence most of us came in scarfs, ties and necklaces with fabulous outfits. :p

We then adjourned to the first floor around 10pm. Still pretty empty but we like the newly renovated bar area. We got ourselves a bottle of tequila and the guys started to yell "Cheers!" and "Down!".... well, you know. We also had the birthday cake courtesy of Savante (nice but a tad too sweet) and before long, the guys especially Defiant and Nasser were high on alcohol. Obscene activities ensues; Defiant blowing Nasser, Alexander molested by Janvier and I was "raped" by Alexander, Defiant and Nasser as well... T_T

I felt very warm after my fourth shots (I'm not a drinker anyway). I also don't usually go to the dancefloor but dancing with the guys was really fun. ^^

Janvier, Chief, Alexander, Jin, BunnyBan and Nasser unfortunately have to leave early so I just stick with Defiant, Api, VPYP and their friends. To my surprise, I bumped into Braver and his group of friends including Nivlac on the dancefloor! ^^

As the time getting late, we finally stopped a while, waited for Api to sober up and had some chat. Got to know Jojo (it's a guy, not a girl), a friend of VPYP (pretty much my type of guy :p ) and gave KY and Defiant a friendly peck before we call it a night.

What happened on Saturday: Jin and Alexander came to pick me up and we went to pick Defiant at Avenue K. Met Api, the birthday boy who turns 21st, VPYP, KY and Mic at Marketplace. The four of us love Marketplace more compared to Frangipani. It's more spacious with 3 bars and al fresco seating and better music too but the dancefloor is too small, hence everyone was like rubbing against each other (or maybe the occasional toe stepping!).

Jojo was there too and we had a brief talk before he joined his friends. I almost forgot, Jonathan Cheng was there too. No scandals on the second night and Defiant was practically stealing the limelight, appearing in all camwhoring pictures. :)

The effect of alcohol on me: had rashes on both my arms, chest, stomach, thighs and upper lips. My lip is very dry, cracking and aching as I'm typing this.

So, when are we going again? :D

Sister, the Ranter

*Saturday, 17th May 2008*

It was mom's 60th birthday last Thursday (15th May) but I'm stuck here because of work. Anyway, sis texted me on Thursday, saying that she came back home to celebrate with mom and they're going out for dinner.

I called home after work and had a brief talk with mom, updating her a bit on myself here.

While I was having my dinner alone that night, sis texted me again, continuosly.

"Really can't stand your family anymore. Everyone come all the way from home to this restaurant in Pasir Putih but they ordered steam fish la, belacan kangkung la and the roadside stall dishes. If want to order those, why come so far to this restaurant? Your brother's girlfriend bought her present, she say troublesome. I bought her a shirt, sharing with your brother, she say not nice. Sometimes really feel fed up with them. Really don't know what to say."

I text her back.

"Aiya, never mind lah, as long as they like it, then okay loh. No need to have really expensive food."

When I read it again afterward, I think it's too brief. Maybe because it's not the first time she rants to me about home or maybe because I'm eating!

"You know what I had with my last half portion of my rice? Those garnishing cucumber slices and tomatoes dipped in soy sauce and bird's eye chillies."

.......

That sounds bad.

"Ok lah, then next year no need to go out and celebrate. Just eat at home. Done."

Few minutes later...

"Wei, when you come back next week, you decide on what to buy for her la. Here already got 2 boxes of bird's nest and one box of chicken essence. If buy bird's nest, don't buy those ready to drink ones."

Conclusion?
Eventhough she said that she's fed up, but she never stop talking about mom. :)

Freedom Festival '08

An impromptu invitation by MJAP to the Freedom Festival '08 at Admiral Marina, Port Dickson last Friday certainly is a shock to me. After all, I'm not a rave party fans and I have things to do on Saturday. MJAP said that I can drive his car back either after the party or early the next morning, which I was kinda hesitant to do (it's not my car!) But another fellow blogger (it's a she) was also attending and persuade me to go, so I gave in.

The party was on the beach and we went in kinda late, around 11pm where Ferry Corsten already finished spinning and it was DJ Tiesto's turn! (Actually I have no idea who are they but I did some googling before coming). The authorities were quite strict, they checked almost every "hidden" part of the body, in case the crowds bring in any drugs (but of course they'll take them before entering la).

Photobucket
*The music is more like trance...

Photobucket
*And the crowds went crazy... :)

Photobucket
*So many shirtless guys, girls in bikinis, foreigners...

Photobucket
*Fireworks! And those thing felt onto us after burning... something like ashes. Ergh

*Followed by confetti~~~~!

*Ending track... at 3am

Quite an experience for me (never attended rave party before) and it doesn't surprised me that most of the people there were Malays.

I insisted on following my friend's car on the way back cos I'm not sure the way to get back to KL. Still, couldn't believe that I really went there, partied and came back few hours later. Hahaha :p

*Thanks MJAP for the invitation and borrowed me your car ;)

Favourite Scene In TLOS

This is what you get when someone said, "I cannot be with you, but it doesn't mean that I don't love you."

Classic...

The first time I listen to this was many many years ago (presumably junior high). It's the theme song for a Hong Kong Chinese TVB drama, telling the story of a married woman (an unattractive, naive and chubby housewife) who are being abandoned by her husband for another woman and how that event changed her from a housewife into a pretty and successful OL (office lady, working lady, whatever you call it...)

The ending unexpectedly, was a happy one. After all, as the song name says, he's still the one she love the most.

Ten Little Hotties

*Sunday, 4th May 2008*

First of all, Happy Birthday to WH!

Defiant tagged me with this meme last month and I only managed to put it up today. Here goes.

Compose a list of your top ten sexiest famous men (if you're a girl) or women (if you're a guy).

Of course I'm going to list down my men, excuse me. (With no particular order)

Photobucket
JC Chasez

When I first started to indulge in English music, that's when the boybands flourished. JC's from the group NSync along with Justin Timberlake (I never think that Justin's good looking at all) and Lance Bass (Lance's admitted that he's gay).

Photobucket
Eric Mabius

No, I haven't watch Ugly Betty yet but I already noticed him in Resident Evil as the hunky Matt Addison, the so-called police officer who snuck up into the The Hive and bumped into Alice (Milla Jovovich).

Photobucket
Channing Tatum

First introduction on him was when I watched Step Up, a story about a rebellious young guy, Tyler Gage (Tatum) and privileged modern dancer Nora Clark (Jenna Dewan)who find themselves paired up in a showcase that determines both of their future. He'll be appearing too in Step Up 2, just hope that it'll be show at our local cinemas.

Photobucket
Russell Wong

Remember the villian in Romeo Must Die? If no, then you can catch him in the upcoming movie The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor this August, alongside with Brendan Fraser, Michelle Yeoh and Jet Li. :D

Photobucket
Jeff Timmons

Another guy from the boyband, Jeff Timmons was the founder of 98 Degrees. Me likey him more than Nick Lachey maybe because I feel that Nick's face structure resembles Joker (LOL) especially when he smiles. Anyway, I remembered the last copy of Galaxie magazine I bought has Jeff half naked picture, wrapped in blanket on the cover but I can't find it. :(

Photobucket
Jake Shimabukuro

Born in Hawaii and also known as "lightning-fast fingers", Jake is a ukulele virtuoso who composed the theme song of the 2006 Japanese movie Hula Girls.

Photobucket
Chris Evans

Do I need to say more? :P

Photobucket
Song II-Guk

I think there's too much Korean stars for me to recognise their names. If you wanna know who is Song II-Guk, go to Speedy Video and look for Korean film, The Art of Seduction. The cover shot of him was real sexy. Love his small eyes.

Photobucket
Zhao Wen Zhuo

When mention Chinese martial arts stars, we usually familiar with Jacky and Jet and maybe Donnie Yen but I personally think that none of them look as good as Zhao Wen Zhuo.

Photobucket
Daniel Henney

Last but not least, my favourite Daniel Henney! When WMW sent me some Youtube links on a Korean TV show, I couldn't stop myself from laughing over the female celebrities who literally threw themselves over him! I'm still eager to watch him in My Father... maybe I should download it :P

So, there you go, my 10 littles hotties.

See also Defiant and Nasser's posts.

Party At The End of April

*Friday, 2 May 2008*

Photobucket

I still can't believe that I really went for MODA (Malaysia Official Designers Association) show at 1U last Wednesday after work despite the crazy traffic jam at TTDI. I think I was stuck in the jam for about an hour plus.

Photobucket

But as soon as I reached the mall, my feelings changed, probably because distracted by plenty of eye candies (gaydar overload). Api, MC and Verve were already there, so I took a seat and start taking pictures. And I was so thirsty at that time, I didn't even mind what drinks they got me, I just gulp it down (it was alcohol, by the way).

Photobucket

Api: You see all the people sitting over there?
Me: Yeah, why?
Api: There's where all the designers supposed to sit, so open your eyes wide! *chuckles*

Photobucket

But it turns out to be pretty boring as most of the models are females and there were only 4 males (WTF?), so when all four of them came out parading William Liew's designs, we were pretty excited. Not forget to mention also, Jonathan Cheng looks great in black.

Photobucket

The guys camwhored a bit before leaving for late dinner at McD, The Curve with Verve's friend, MJAP and his boyfriend and to Marketplace after that. Unfortunately, the place was not packed at all. There were just 3-4 groups of people including us... but anyway, managed to met up with MJAP's friends (Jo is cute!), played some simple games and booze of course.

We lingered till around 3am and off we went to have an early breakfast at Petaling Street. I followed MJAP's car.

There's road block on the way.

He quickly stopped the car a distance away and we swapped seats! (I wasn't drinking at all at Marketplace, if you're wondering. Alcohol never taste great on my tongue.) A police came over, said that he saw us swapped seats. He took my license and IC and asked me to drive to the front. I did and while waiting for him to return back my cards, another police came over.

He: Just now that was an officer. He saw you two changed seats. He's the witness.
Me: Oh really?

Anyway, after waited for about 10 minutes, another police came over, this one was a bit soft spoken and more polite.

He: Dari mana? (Where from?)
Me: KLCC.
He: Nak pergi mana? (Going where?)
Me & MJAP: Pergi makan. (Going to eat)

*Return my IC and license*

He: Ok, sekarang nampak ini tak? Sekarang kosong kan? (Ok, you see this? It's zero here right?)

*Showing the alcohol-detector device with a pipe*

Me: Yaya. (Yes yes)
He: Ok, sekarang tiup. Kuat sikit. (Ok, blow it. Harder)

*Sounds so salah all of a sudden but I ain't blowing him, okay! :p *

He: Em, okay. Boleh pergi. (Okay, you can go now)
Me: Thank you.

*At Petaling Street...*

Verve: Jason, you drove right? We saw you drove when we passed by you just now.
Me: Yeah. Cos I wasn't drinking at Marketplace.
Api: Jason, I'm sooo proud of you.
Me: *grin* Thank you, thank you.

And reached home around 4am something. Feels happy and a bit high, maybe because it's been a long time since I partied till late and went home at such wee hour. Oh by the way, I sat next to Jo at Petaling Street. Did i mentioned that he's cute? :p
