Was at GSC KLCC last... er.. was it last two weeks? Or last week? Anyway, was there with Janvier to catch Disney Pixar's latest animated installment, Ratatouille. Now if you haven't watch it, go and grab a seat, you won't regret it. I think they're still showing it.
It tells the story of Rémy, a rat with extraordinary sense of smell, living in Paris who wants to be a chef. When Rémy and his colony fled the house they have been hiding after the owner of the house discovers them, Rémy separated from the others and initially, washed up alone in a drain under Paris. In a twist of event, Rémy ended up helping a young man named Alfredo Linguini his way to stardom in the culinary world.
Now if you have no idea, Ratatouille actually is a name of a dish, originally prepared by farmers with fresh summer vegetables such as zucchini, tomatoes, garlic, green and red capsicum and onion. Today's Ratatouille have aubergine added to the mixture. The name derived from "touiller", which means "to toss food".
As usual, plenty of laughters-inducing-scenes are infused in the movie, definitely a good medicine for stressed out workers like us. I love the scene where Rémy staring non stop at the majestic Paris skyline with Eiffel Tower glittering at its full glory.
