Nasser posted this in Facebook recently....
"With the recent craze on Freezes worldwide - I feel that perhaps it's time to move on from the usual freeze to something different. Like musicals. In public. Out of nowhere. I'd definitely join. :P"
So maybe Nasser can sing this in public. :P
If You Were Gay - Avenue Q (Robert Lopez & Jeff Marx)
ROD:
Aah, an afternoon alone with
My favorite book, "Broadway
Musicals of the 1940s."
No roommate to bother me.
How could it get any better than this?
NICKY:
Oh,hi Rod!
ROD:
Hi Nicky.
NICKY:
Hey Rod, you'll never
Guess what happened to
Me on the subway this morning.
This guy was smiling at me and talking to me
ROD:
That's very interesting.
NICKY:
He was being real friendly,
And I think he was coming on to me.
I think he might've thought I was gay!
ROD:
Ahem, so, uh, why are you telling me this?
Why should I care?
I don't care.
What did you have for lunch today?
NICKY:
Oh, you don't have to get
All defensive about it, Rod...
ROD:
I'm NOT getting defensive!
What do I care about some gay guy you met, okay?
I'm trying to read.
NICKY:
Oh, I didn't mean anything by it, Rod.
I just think it's something we should be able to talk about.
ROD:
I don't want to talk about it,
Nicky! This conversation is over!!!
NICKY:
Yeah, but Rod...
ROD:
OVER!!!
NICKY:
Well, okay, but just so you know —
IF YOU WERE GAY
THAT'D BE OKAY.
I MEAN 'CAUSE, HEY,
I'D LIKE YOU ANYWAY.
BECAUSE YOU SEE,
IF IT WERE ME,
I WOULD FEEL FREE
TO SAY THAT I WAS GAY
(BUT I'M NOT GAY.)
ROD:
Nicky, please!
I am trying to read....
What?!
NICKY:
IF YOU WERE QUEER
ROD:
Ah, Nicky!
NICKY:
I'D STILL BE HERE,
ROD:
Nicky, I'm trying to read this book.
NICKY:
YEAR AFTER YEAR
ROD:
Nicky!
NICKY:
BECAUSE YOU'RE DEAR
TO ME,
ROD:
Argh!
NICKY:
AND I KNOW THAT YOU
ROD:
What?
NICKY:
WOULD ACCEPT ME TOO,
ROD:
I would?
NICKY:
IF I TOLD YOU TODAY,
"HEY! GUESS WHAT,
I'M GAY!"
(BUT I'M NOT GAY.)
I'M HAPPY
JUST BEING WITH YOU.
ROD:
High Button Shoes, Pal Joey...
NICKY:
SO WHAT SHOULD IT
MATTER TO ME
WHAT YOU DO IN BED
WITH GUYS?
ROD:
Nicky, that's GROSS!
NICKY:
No it's not!
IF YOU WERE GAY
I'D SHOUT HOORAY!
ROD:
I am not listening!
NICKY:
AND HERE I'D STAY,
ROD:
La la la la la!
NICKY:
BUT I WOULDN'T GET
IN YOUR WAY.
ROD:
Aaaah!
NICKY:
YOU CAN COUNT ON ME
TO ALWAYS BE
BESIDE YOU EVERY DAY,
TO TELL YOU IT'S OKAY,
YOU WERE JUST BORN
THAT WAY,
AND, AS THEY SAY,
IT'S IN YOUR DNA,
YOU'RE GAY!
ROD:
BUT I'M NOT GAY!
NICKY:
If you were gay.
ROD:
Argh!

If You Were Gay
Drifting
*Friday, 25th April 2008*
Last week, I took one day off on Friday and went back to hometown to see my parents.
I should be feeling relaxed (no work for 3 days). But I'm bored actually. The only good things I found at home were everyone's healthy, mom's cooking and Asian Food Channel. So I text-ed my friends.
"Hi guys and girls, I'm back in Ipoh. Any plan tonight? Wanna go for karaoke?"
It has been the longest time since my last trip to karaoke after I shifted to KL.
The karaoke joint in Ipoh can't be compared to those in KL. No LCD TV, small room. But the good thing is - cheap. RM34.50 per pax for 6 hours + 2 fruit platters, 4 jugs of drinks, 2 tidbits and 4 bottles of sparkling juice (it doesn't make sense, I know but I don't care much).
Vincent's voice improved a lot and he obviously been following most of the latest released tracks. Marisa, after gave birth to her first daughter in January, haven't been to any karaoke session but still good at it. My ex... well, he just sat there and do nothing.
Day two, met up with Defiant and La FagHag for foodcrawl. The most interesting day of the weekend. We practically teasing and commenting on every lalas we saw in Ipoh Parade. Fun.
But Ipoh is slowly drifting further from me.
No more catching up with my gay ex-schoolmate.
No more meeting up with the guys I knew.
No idea where are the new eateries located.
No more places to hang out for me. Old Town Kopitiam again? No, thanks.
Or maybe it's just me.

The Comment That Makes Me Cry
*Thursday, 17th April 2008*
A blogger friend of mine went for company trip to Egypt last week and extended her trip till next week. So, in the meantime, I became her "guest blogger". I basically just need to login using her account, publish the posts she had arranged based on date and moderate the comments.
One night, I was reading the comments her readers sent in, when I came across one with the sentence "Do not post this...". Apparently, it was from her sister.
I didn't mean to spy on other people's stuff but in order for me to know whether the comment is appropriate to be published or not, I need to read it, correct?
"I remember dad loves to hold mom's hand or sometimes put his arm over mom's shoulder. He was a loving man. I wonder what is dad up to now. Really miss the old chap very much. Every time I read your post about dad, I cried..."
*The actual comment was differ a little from the above. I hope she's not angry with me for putting this up.
I don't know about you, but for me, being a son, I hardly miss my family. Unlike my sister (or probably most of the daughters), she will call home to chat with mom, update her on recent happenings at college. If mom's busy at the moment, she'll leave message and ask mom to return her call.
Being gay, it's unlikely we will have children of our own but in case I wanna have an adopted child in the future, I might consider to get a girl.
I will be away from tomorrow. Going back to see my parents. :)
And I just realised that Mother's Day and Father's Day are around the corner.
Have a nice weekend.
*I wanna watch My Father! Anyone got the DVD?
Luke MacFarlane

Kindness Still Exists
*Wednesday, 16th April 2008*
Something happened in front of me last night.
The light bulb in the bathroom died 2 mornings ago so me decided to head over to Leisure Mall to get a replacement and also for dinner as well.
Was in McD, hungrily attacking my McChicken (note to self: must get LARGE set next time) when a Chinese mid-aged woman came in with a walking stick and started to beg for money. It seems that none of the patrons were sympathetic to her though.
After a while, she sat down at a table where two patrons just left (Malaysian style; they don't clear the table after finished eating) and start eating/drinking from the leftovers.
A Malay girl (I assumed it's a girl) who happened to be the staff there saw her and went over to clear the trays and trash, and left the woman. She continue to sit there and staring into blank-ness for a while.
Me decided to buy her a meal. Just before I could take out my wallet, the staff came back with a burger and drink and placed them in front of the woman. Instantly, her face brighten up, smile and thank the girl repeatedly (with both palms did like praying) and wallop her meal in gusto.
I smiled. I think I'm touched.
But it left me ponder a while. Did the girl just do a good deed, or it's McD?
Blogger.com's Most Eligible Gay Bachelor 2008
*Sunday, 13th April 2008*
The time now is 1.11am and I'm still online. I'm probably too stuffed with food earlier this afternoon and still feel a bit bloated by now eventhough I skipped dinner.
And so, proceed with Nasser's meme. Yes, I'm still very much a bachelor and still available :p
Bachelor No: 7
Name: Azzuro Hyperion
Occupation: Administration Executive
Age: 25
Zodiac: Scorpio
Fave Hangout: Basically anywhere with eye candies and food
Talent: Spin my eyeballs, "waving" my eyebrows and expand/contract my nose
3 things you can't live without
Let's see... I obviously can't throw away my phone and to look good, I need hair wax and of course, facial cleanser.
What is the sweetest thing a guy/girl has done for you?
I was going to a potluck party at Jalan Gasing. He drove me all the way from Mid Valley to SS2 so I can pack some satay, then drove to Jalan Gasing, got lost in the residential area for about an hour (despite he got plan at that time) and finally dropped me off in front of my friend's house. That was actually the first time I meet him. :)
The most daredevil thing I've ever done is...
Stole RM20 from my dad's drawer to buy a whole box of Street Fighter "tear and win" cards, just to get the only ONE card which can exchange for a Street Fighter T-Shirt. I think that was in Standard 5. And I got Blanka!
What’s one thing you’re glad you’ve outgrown?
The ability of not to watch TV.
Your biggest mistake is...
Didn't get the contact details from the go-go boy on my last day in Bangkok.
Which actor would play you in a movie about your life?
Daniel Henney.
Why do men...
on this planet are not entirely gay? We could have more choices if they are!
If you were a product, how would your advertising campaign read?
The all new Hyperion. Book now, you know you want one.

Boss & Me
*Wednesday, 9th April 2008*
Over the past 10 months, boss and I have developed a "symbiosis relationship".
In case you're wondering, yes, I'm here in KL for almost one year now.
Scenario 1:
Boss: Jason, can you please tapau nasi lemak for me when you're on the way to office later?
Me: Sure.
*1 hour later*
Boss: Wah, so big portion ah! I'll eat half, another half for you. You haven't had breakfast, right?
Me: Em.. yeah, okay.
Scenario 2:
Me: Nah, here's the recipe for easy tiramisu.
Boss: Looks difficult O.O"
Me: [insert courageous words here]
Boss: Okay lah, see which weekend I free, after I make, you can be my guinea pig.
Me: Sure. :P
Scenario 3:
Boss: So much rice.... come, I give you a bit.
Me: That is not a bit, that's a lot!
Boss: Woman cannot eat so much ah... will get fat.
Me: I'm the one who will be fat actually >_<
Scenario 4:
Boss: I brought some cake/sandwich/bread/cookies/fruits in the container there. Half of them is for you.
Me: Oh, thank you.
Don't ask why am I so close to her, it's complicated to explain. :P
Play At My Little Sanctuary
*Friday, 4th April 2008*
So the guys will come over for gaming nite (I'm sure it'll turn into something else, believe me) tomorrow. Which means I need to polish the sanctuary (The Apartment) as shiny as possible before they arrive.
On the other hand, just got a SMS from the guy at FS asking whether I'm free for a second food review this weekend, which I politely declined. No time. Need to go see my hairstylist tomorrow, clean the house and... you know. Then Sunday lunch with Mr. A and his friend (big lamp post?) and probably go for movie as well.
Maybe will play these:
And of course:
Which requires all lights to be turned off. :S
Almost forget about food. I better go and look for Domino Pizza's number in Connaught. Toodles and have a great weekend ahead.
