CNY Movies

*Wednesday, 28th January 2009*

I'm finally back from the CNY celebration at my hometown. Actually I can't wait to come back to KL as it's very boring at home: no Internet, no computer, no Facebook! And gawd, the weather was crazily hot.

Deprived of Internet and Astro being occupied by others during daytime, I end up watching DVD with the old TV instead. Good thing that there are eye candies in the film.

Ghost Rider was okay; the actions were not very interesting but hell, the young Johnny Blaze played by Matt Long was HOT! Maybe I should say "he's cute" instead of hot.

Step Up 2 was good, much better than Step Up especially when I think that main actor Robert Hoffman is way much hotter than Channing Tatum.

See? I melted every time he flashed his smile.

And here's my favourite scene from the movie.

Yay for hip-hop!

Yay To Samsung

*Thursday, 22nd January 2008*

So we went to Tropicana Mall last week after Nivlac saw the Samsung Mobile sales here.
Was torn in between Samsung SGH F330 and F250; I prefer the slimmer F330 with 2.0 megapixels camera, larger screen and higher resolution but Nivlac said the F250 is more stylish with glossy, reflective front, not-so bulky buttons and of course, cheaper price tag too.

I chose F250 in the end. F330 doesn't have basic function such as calendar and calculator. :S

The slider F250 is equipped with 1.3 megapixels camera (I don't mind this as my Lumix will always be my priority in photos taking), 2GB memory card and 65K TFT LCD screen (the fonts became very BIG, not good for notti SMS/pictures especially when you're stucked in a crowded train!)

So, why Samsung?

1. Nokia is too common. I always like to be special.
2. Confused with SE's system. Don't like their SMS feature.
3. Motorola's prices are too high for the given functions.
4. Been using Samsung for more than 4 years, I just love their design. Samsung have not given me any problems yet.

So yay to Samsung!

The Music Is Alive Again

*Wednesday, 21st January 2009*

Finally got a new phone from Best Denki, Tropicana City Mall during their handphone sales last week. It has the outer music hot keys like my previous model!

Hardcore Fan

*Tuesday, 20th January 2008*

First and foremost, Happy 28th Birthday to Janvier! The BFFs gang celebrated his birthday last Saturday, a surprise for him, all thanks to The Chief who planned and arranged everything meticulously. Api, Nivlac, Sinner and yours truly got him a stainless steel cocktail shaker as present but unbeknownst to us, Nase and QR also got him the same item (same item, same price, same store but different date and different wrapping :p ). We should had buy lottery that day.

Aside from that, I noticed something lately:

Nivlac is a hardcore Panasonic fan! I only own one Panasonic item, that's my current digital camera. Anyone can guess what those items are? :P

My E730 Went Missing

*Sunday, 11st January 2009*

As of today, my Samsung SGH E730 has been MIA for one whole week.

I accidentally left it in Manulife's FF changing room after shower last Saturday evening. I remembered I took it out from my bag a while to check on SMS and missed calls, changed my shirt and took some tissue paper from the hair dryer counter to wipe my forehead. Then we left the gym to Jalan Ipoh to pick Sinner and that's when I realized it's not in my pocket. Nivlac and Sinner tried to call the number but the person who picked it up, already switched off the phone. We rushed back to the gym, searched the changing room thoroughly but couldn't find it. Even the receptionist claimed that he did not receive any lost phone.

It's not a latest model, I have been using it for the past 4 years. It was an expensive phone back then but I liked it due to the music hot keys are located at the outside of the phone. Luckily I don't store important notes/contacts in the phone. I still can get back the contact list. But birthdates, pics of some hot guys and mp3s are gone with it.

I'm surveying some potential models now... Will only get a new one after CNY, I guess. Start the new year with a new phone... :(

After Relocation

*Wednesday, 6th January 2008*

As of 31st December 2008, I officially move out from my rented place of one and a half year in Cheras and moved to Damansara with Nivlac. Finally gave back the house keys to the landlord. When I first came down to KL, I didn't have much things with me but then only I realized I'm such a rubbish collector! I subconciously kept plenty of boxes (small and large) and shopping bags (those from Padini, Seed, G2000, William Liew etc) in my room and it was quite a hell to get rid of them. Thank God for Nivlac, Teckiee and Xavier's help(ss), I finally threw all the unnecessary stuff and moved the remaining ones to Nivlac's place. *hug hug*

So, yes, new life in Damansara. I've always like PJ but right now, I'm still working in Cheras. I have to wake up early (Mon-Fri) at 6am, take LRT to Masjid Jamek, then change bus to my office. Then the opposite routine on the way back to PJ *wipes sweat off forehead* I have to sleep earlier nowadays (around 10 - 11), which makes me have little time for blogging and net surfing.

But the newly opened Tropicana City Mall is just opposite the condo, so groceries shopping is a breeze. Time to plan for a housewarming party, say, probably in February.

After staying here for about 2 weeks, I noticed there are a few units occupied by gays here too. I saw 2 guys in a black Toyota, looking back at me when I drove out one evening, one staying at 2 doors away from our unit and bumped into another 3 stocky guys in their late 30s in the lift yesterday.

Also, instead of going to Leisure Mall for gym, I'm now stopping at Axis' branch after work.

Of course, staying together also means there's many things need to be adjust and compromise, for example, he always said that he can't find one particular shirt (cos I accidentally mixed them with other and put in the wrong compartment) and we have to tolerate with each other with the TV usage. He's a Hokkien and a Singaporean drama fan, while I prefer Asian Food Channel, Discovery, National Geographic and PS2... you get the idea. I separate dark and black colour laundry from Ikea towels when washing (as the wool will stuck on the shirts and pants) but he insisted to wash them together to save water and electricity.

But despite all these, I'm happy that I can get to know him better - an essential element to maintain a stable relationship. Furthermore, I'm now much nearer to Jin, Janvier, WMW, Lifebook, Bunny, Danielle and LemonLime too. :)
