曾經愛你永遠愛你

It's Been... One Year!

*Wednesday, 30th July 2008*

One year ago...

He buzzed me on MSN.

"Hi, I got your MSN from your blog."

"Hello there... you are?"

"Janvier Soldat."

"Janvier...?"

First thought - Ooh... a foreigner!
But it turns out to be a Chinese.

"You mentioned "we"... you mean you and your bf?"

It turns out that he actually address himself as "we".

"Oh Cheras. We used to go to the OTK there on Fridays for boardgames."

That was before he got someone else to spend his Friday night with :p

So, we met up on 29th July 2007 for the first time for lunch at Co Do, Midvalley.

"We need to bring the laptop for diagnostic."
"We always wonder how a flogger do his job."
"Alex might have all the collection. You know, Alexander The Gay? He likes classical music."
"So, we shall tapau satay at SS2 first before dropping you off at Nigel's place."

On second meeting, he brought me to meet with the rest of the group, which we slowly became very close with each other. We ogle at hunks, we celebrate birthdays, we partied, we go clubbing, we go for movies, dinners and finally, we travel to a foreign land for holiday.

So Janvier, this post is for you.

It was my luck to have met you, where you brought me to meet all these wonderful people, else I would have still be... myself.

Love ya.

P/S: Chief, don't be jealous lah, okie? :p

Bunking Bangkok, Day 3

*Monday, 28th July 2008*

We woke up the next day, feeling a little dissatisfied with the lack of camwhoring activities throughout the trip and so the four of us (Defiant, Janvier, Chief and me) decided to visit the Grand Palace and Temple of the Emerald Buddha, while Daemon and Xavier headed to a mini photographing studio in Siam Discovery (if I'm not mistaken) to have their first studio photographs taken.

The Grand Palace and bright morning sun

The sun was shining mercilessly upon us that morning (this means disaster for Janvier). Met Will.i.am, Cheryl, Derek and CK at the entrance and camwhoring activities started. While they were busy taking pictures and admiring the building structures, me on the other hand was busy looking around, scavenging for any cuties :p

I actually like my pictures taken here by Chief. Somehow, my eye bags weren't so visible in his pictures (did he edit them? Or it's Sony's processor? :p )

We then headed to MBK again without Will.i.am's team (we got SMS from Jin saying that they're on the way to the Grand Palace by boat ride when we left) for shopping. Stopped at McThai for lunch and we were kinda amused by the lady sitting next to us. Whenever Janvier tried to take pictures of the food, she will use her magazine or hat to shield her face!

MBK is kinda similar to our smaller scale of Mid Valley (minus the lalas). The first shop we went was the video store where the guys busy browsing the gay section. Xavier and Daemon joined us shortly after and we finally managed to get ourselves some real shopping stuff.

For myself:
Happy Tree Friends tee (Toothy) - Chatuchak

A brown purse for mom - Naraya, Central World
A wooden carved snake statue for G - Chatuchak
2 ceramic plates for boss - Central
A Thailand gay movie DVD for Orson - MBK

Got SMS from Alexander saying that we should have group dinner since it's our last night in Bangkok. Daemon insisted that we go for M2M (man to man) massage before dinner so Defiant, Daemon and I went to Andy's Man Massage (located somewhere behind the lanes in Silom street). Personally, I don't really like the way we choose the masseurs. The masseurs will stand in one room, separated from us by a glass window and we'll pick the one that we want, similar like those in police station as seen in HK dramas. Massage was 600 Baht per hour and minimum tips for masseur was 500 baht (total 1100 Baht for no extra service), while minimum tips was 1000 Baht (total 1600 Baht for extra service).

We were then led upstairs to individual rooms where he asked me to take a shower first. Then I get to lay down on the massage bed, totally nude (both of us!) and he start working on my legs and slowly to the waist and shoulders. It was quite an awkward moment as we didn't speak to each other (some people told me that their masseurs will chat with them but mine was different). He pressed my thighs a little too strong at some times... pain and a bit ticklish at the same time.

One thing I noticed was... he constantly touches my butt and the anus part. When I turned around, chest facing upward, he started to touch my tool... Then he lifted both my legs and put them on his lap! (It's lap, NOT shoulders. You must be thinking of some missionary pose!)

Then, he bit my chest... = ="

I pushed him but it's the no-energy-type-of-pushing cos his tongue was good :P
While I was contemplating whether I should ask him to stop or continue, he moved his tongue from the left to the right side.... damn, I really felt weak at the moment and I sensed that I was slowly getting a hard on!

I finally pushed him away. He was a bit confused and ask me "You don't want to cum?"
I replied, "No" and he seems disappointed (because he'll get less tips?).

The three of us then rushed to Lek Seafood restaurant below Chong Nonsi BTS station to catch up with the rest (we were late by the way) but Will.i.am and his team already left. We don't feel like eating there so we headed back to Suriwongse street for hawker food with Xavier and went for "aquarium" show. There was this particular go-go boy who kept on staring at both Daemon and Xavier the whole night. :)

Bunking Bangkok, Day 2

*Tuesday, 22nd July 2008*

After the long night of partying, we woke up quite late the next morning. Will.i.am and the rest already left the guesthouse earlier for breakfast. The few of us dragged ourselves to shower and then ready to brave the weekend market of Chatuchak. We took the sky train from Saladaeng station to the last station of Mo Chit where Chatuchak Garden is just below the station.

Roadside stall selling tea and coffee.

It's my third time here and I'm never bored of it, simply because the place is too huge to be explored entirely in one day. They do distribute maps of the area but we didn't get any until we were about to leave. With a list of items on hand, the 6 of us ventured into the market where Janvier & Chief left us shortly after.

1. Shirts (corny, stripes, tight fitting, cute etc)
2. Accesorries (pendant, chain, necklace, wrist band, ring etc)
3. Crockery (2 plain, white colour serving dish for my boss)
4. Junk food (dried mango for Orson)
5. Pants (at least one pair of jeans)
6. Shoes (one pair of sneakers)
7. Souvenirs

I think Xavier and Daemon bought the most things before we stopped by a small stall for lunch (flip flops, shirts, accessories). They serve some simple Japanese food but nice stuff. We continue our quest after lunch where we occasionally bumped into the others (Will.i.am, Cheryl) and the Baan Saladaeng group. After 5 hours, we decided call it a day and took the train to get back to our guesthouse. Pretty disappointed trip it was for me and Defiant as we weren't able to buy much! I failed to complete my missions on the list except for one belt, one shirt and some souvenirs. Argh... I want my kinky shirts! >_< style="font-style: italic;">dark and humid place, clad in towel. Instead, we joined Janvier and Chief for dinner in a Japanese restaurant in Siam Paragon called Fuji, while Baan Saladaeng group went for a Siamese cultural show at Siam Niramit.

Photobucket
Defiant, waiting for dinner

We rushed to MBK after dinner, only to arrived at the time when the shops are closing (shopping complex in BKK closes at 9pm and some latest by 9.30pm). No "shopping luck" for us again, so we decided to come here again the next day.

Went back to Silom and regroup with Will.i.am, Cheryl, KH, CK, Daemon and Xavier where they suddenly feel like going for a go-go boys show. After contemplating a while in front of the go-go street (with annoying staffs harassing us), Chief brought us to a club further down the street of Suriwongse called Tawan club. The place is almost fully occupied but the shows are kinda bored. Well, maybe because I have been watching all these shows for my past trips and they're all the same (playing with candle, fire, whips, cock display, dancing, blowjobs etc etc). Even Chief himself claimed that it's boring.

Bunking Bangkok, Day 1

*Monday, 21st July 2008*

Dem.... our long planned Bangkok trip ended in a blink of eye. To return to work after spent 4 days 3 nights there really is a.... pain in the arse. In addition to that, Lifebook wasn't able to make it at the last minute due to some work commitments...

Photobucket
Nasser's AirAsia meal - Roti Jala with curry chicken.

Anyway, it was my best trip there so far. I decided to travel light; only brought 3 tees, one jeans, cash, grooming tools (this is a MUST bring items), camera (another MUST bring item) etc. Our flight is at 1.40pm and luckiy, no delay but we didn't take a group photo at the Suvarnabhumi Airport. The 15 of us were then split into 2 groups; one group booked the hotel at Baan Saladaeng (Savante, Alexander, Jin, Nasser, BunnyBan) while another group at Take A Nap hostel (both are in Silom district). I shared the 6 beds dorm at Take A Nap with Daemon, Xavier, Defiant and CK (Cheryl's friend) which is about 10 mins away from Saladaeng BTS Station. I did the stupidest thing there - I locked the safe box and unable to open it after that. Luckily I haven't put my passport in it. :p

Photobucket
Food court inside Central World.

After refreshed ourselves a bit, we waste no time and the 10 of us decided to visit Central World. Took 2 cabs there but the first cab (Xavier, Daemon, Chief, Janvier & Defiant) seems to stopped at the different entrance of the mall, hence we were separated and I'm stucked with Will.i.am, KH, Cheryl and CK. Went to Zara and a few shops as they were having sales but the Q detered me from getting anything... and we had our first Bangkok dinner at the food court (small and not much choice). I ordered the Tom Yum Goong spaghetti which lack of flavour (this was my only Tom Yam meal!)

Oyster Omelette.

Central World.

We then loitered inside the mall and spent most of the time at the underwear section and a local handbag boutique called NaRaYa. Got mom a small brown coin purse that costs 55 baht (RM 5.50! Cheap cheap cheap!) while Cheryl was buying like there's no tomorrow. Waited for the rest of the group to arrive, we headed back to hostel and this time, I'm stucked with the Baan Saladaeng group... While we were on the way to BTS station, Savante made a detour and we ended up at McThai (McDonald's) somewhere behind Gaysorn. Before we left, the guys took picture with the Ronald McDonald's with the "wai" gesture where Savante showed a shocking slut pose we never seen before!

Nasser: The doctor really changed when he stepped into this land.
Hyperion: Must be the air. Or water. Or food.

Oh well... :p

Photobucket
Jin jumping around at the BTS station.

We hurried back to the hotel, showered (the weather was freakingly hot and humid), I put on my corniest tee I bought from Chatuchak last year and walked to DJ Station (about 10 mins away) to meet up with the rest of the group. Seriously... DJ Station rocks! It was so crowded, it's really difficult to walk around. The best thing was it's not allowed to smoke inside the club and the air-conds were blasting at full speed. Plenty of hotties and cuties... "There's one on your right." "Wait, his friends were cute too." "Oh, there's another one on the podium." "He's dragging his buddies on the podium too." "OMG, they're stripping!"

I felt really calm and relax there... as if it's my little sanctuary. The people there were very outgoing and friendly. As we shake our booties, there was this particular guy, around early 30s in a pink and white stripes polo tee, small eyes, spiky hair that catches my attention. He was with another two friends, Chinese I assumed and they were dancing just next to us. I sensed that he was trying to read what my shirt says. We exchanged quite plenty of eye contacts and occasionally, smirks.

Hyperion: Did you see that guy in pink polo tee?
Daemon: Yeah. He's kinda cute, isn't it?
Hyperion: Yeah. And he was looking at us most of the time.

So, I did something out of my normal self... I purposely try to get near him and when he was just in front of me (his back is facing me), I turn around and rub my back and my butt to his! I think he must have sensed it, as I felt that he was like trying to press his to mine seconds later. This continued for a few minutes before the ever expanding crowd pushed us away.

We decided to escape from the crowd and went upstairs. We were standing near the balcony when another guy, in his late 30s, long hair, black tank tops leaning at the divider stares at my shirt and whispered something to his friend next to him. His friend then came forward to greet me.

Guy: Hi, how are you?
Hyperion: I'm fine, thanks.
Guy: Where do you come from?
Hyperion: Malaysia.
Guy: Oh I see. *points to the long hair guy* This is Gerard. From Philippines.
Hyperion: *Smiles and nod*
Guy: Why aren't you drinking?
Hyperion: Cos I get drunk fast.

At this point, you can hear the guys giggling and whispering away... = ="

Defiant scored that night when a Thai boy approached him for a dance and both of them disappeared later on. We finally left the club without Defiant as he was no where to be found and went for supper at the Burger King next door. I was going to take my seat when a Caucasian guy sitting at the left side came over.

Caucasian Guy: *look and stares at my shirt* Excuse me, can you tell me where did you get that shirt?
Hyperion: *a bit confused* Er... Chatuchak.
Caucasian Guy: Sorry but can you please get up and show it to my friend there?
Hyperion: Err... okay. *stood up and display my shirt like a dummy*
Caucasian Guy: Thanks a lot. That was a really nice shirt.
Hyperion: Haha, thank you.

And the guys started to giggle again. I suddenly feel so proud of my tee. :p

Defiant finally showed up with his newly met Thai boy and a love bite on his neck!

Defiant: I can't help it. He wanna bite. Gosh, I feel like my nipple's a bit pain too.

That concludes our first day in Bangkok :)

Food, Food And More Food

*Wednesday, 9th July 2008*

I have been doing freelance food review for a local food portal organization for the past few months. They make arrangement with a particular establishment and I'll go there to sample their food, take pictures, do interviews and come up with the article to be publish on the site. So far, I have came up with 6-7 articles on different restaurants, all done voluntarily.

I got an email from them 2 days ago. Apparently, they wanna do coverage on our local street/hawker food as well and they picked me for the task. Their reasons were "cos I did a good job on article writing" and "my astounding food photography skills".

WTH.

Well, it's not that I rejected them. I accepted. But I seriously don't think that my photography skill was that amazing. I'm just an amateur with a 5 megapixel compact digital camera. No cash to buy DSLR (anyone care to donate? :p )

Anyway, I digress. According to the mail, I got RM 100/month as subsidy for the task too (the guy just SMS-ed me that they banked in the money to my account). Not quite sufficient but hey, I got paid. And I'm free to do whatever I want; no fixed article submission, no time constrain, no particular preference.

More reason to give my "mutant" friends (I'm starting to use this word again) a dinner treat. =)

Bunking Bangkok

*Saturday, 5th July 2008*

I'm blogging this from office. Yeah, I'm working today (full shift, 8.30am - 5.00pm) to do some test on the systems. Pretty easy task actually.

On a side note, today marks exactly one week to my third Bangkok trip. Time really flies! I still remembers that I was talking to Alexander on GTalk last December about how nice it would be if the whole gang could gather together and make a trip to somewhere out of Malaysia. Coincidentally, Jin informed us at the same time that AirAsia is having RM6 fare promotion. Upon hearing this, without any hesitant, we decided to make it a reality.

Photobucket
Skyline view of Bangkok from BTS station

Emails been sent to the entire group and feedbacks were good. When talking about traveling, they can act pretty fast, you know...

Hyperion: Hey, should we get the tickets first? I worry that it'll be sold out soon. We can plan about the hotel issue later.

Lifebook: I have booked the ticket. Done..

Janvier: Savante and mine (ours) are booked.

Cheryl: I have done the booking for my partner, William & KH and myself.

Alexander: Jin, Defiant and mine - Done.

Nasser: Booked ours (me + BunnyBan). Left Xavier and Daemon.

Hyperion: What the heck, you guys left me alone!

*Excerpt from Gmail conversations.

So, yeah, there will be approximately 15 of us (14 gays and 1 straight girl). I call it "the historical trip" as I'm pretty sure there will be no more such big group ("gays + bloggers + close friends" combination) to travel along in the future. Everyone will be busy with their own life (promotion, work, families, partner etc). Who knows what will happen in the future.

Traffic jam at Silom Road, Bangkok

Come to think of it, next week's trip is my first holiday trip this year and my third trip to the Land of Smiles. I would love to have more holiday but I can't due to some reasons. And yes, I love Bangkok for the friendly people, authentic Thai food, shopping places, new things to see and ahemmm... the cute guys of course. Maybe because it's also a country of high tolerant on gays, I like it even more.

Visiting a gay tolerant city with close gay friends. I can't wait.

But after this trip, I don't think I'll be coming back again for a period of time... Wish to visit other places such as Langkawi, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore on my future trips. Anybody wanna join?

Vacancy: White Hair Plucker

*Friday, 4th July 2008*

Sigh.

I need a "white hair plucker".

Any volunteer?
